I decided to write a quick review on newsdemon. I have tried pretty much every provider off and on over the years. Let me first say that things have gotten pretty much level across the board. I am not talking about DMCA or NTD removals, that is a different type of review. Back to review :) However, I had an account issue which required me to contact support for a billing rebill issue. Support helped with the issue with in several minutes and they handled the issue immediately. I do have a 1gb cable connection and routinely max out my line which is even better. The main point of my review is the great assistance I received. I am sure other providers provide similar assistance so this is not meant as a negative against them. It is just to openly say newsdemon hit the ball out of the park for me.
I started using UseNet in 2020. Signed up at $84/yr for 2 years at (unlimited) newshosting.com . At the time I didn’t know anything and didn’t realize people were getting $10-$20yr/plans. Renewal is on 5/28/22.

I tried the videosort script, used %dn for all movie, tv, and dated formats, and left the destination dirs blank. The video file extensions I leave same as default. After saving setting and reload, it still doesnt rename obfuscated files according to nzb. What did I miss? I am not trying to differentiate movies, series, etc.. I just want general video files to be named like the nzb.
Thank you.
So - here’s my story:
I have multiple ISP’s ( 3 ) for aggregate bandwidth. (Fiber, copper and cellular) UNS says I’m account sharing - I’m not.
I don’t have a way to control what gateway one specific application uses - so that’s out. ( edit, I don’t want to control where it goes )
I’m also using UsenetExpress - works flawlessly.
Does anyone know of another provider that allows multiple IP’s to access their services? I’m US based.
So Plex has a new Wishlist feature:
https://www.plex.tv/blog/end-the-streaming-struggle-with-plex/
It allows you add movies and tv shows to a universal wishlist that covers most streaming services all well as the local Plex library.
Furthermore, it also allows you to select which steaming services you subscribe to and will feature content available on those.
It would be awesome if Sonarr could integrate with this and automatically download the TV shows that are on your wishlist but NOT available on any of your streaming services.
Any chance this could happen?

Here is a bit of a better version of the script from the main post. This no longer needs a TMDB API key. I was hoping that the Watchlist movies were stored in the Plex Database so the relevant info could be pulled from there, but no such luck. Instead, the script pulls the TMDB ID needed to add the movie to Radarr from the publicPagesURL in the watchlist.xml. I prefer this method, because it should ensure that the exact movie gets added. With the previous TMDB API, if there were multiple results it would take the first one, without regard for if it was the correct movie.
Keep in mind this will parse the entire watchlist each time its run. There is no logic to determine if a movie has already been added, the more movies you have in your watchlist, the longer its going to take to process.
Edit: I updated the script per /u/Bakerboy448 suggestions, minus the search when added option
There are some drawbacks to how this works:
I’ve set up my sonarr to scan my plex watch list. However Sonarr only scans the list every 12 hours. Is it possible to change this to be more frequent eg. every 5 minutes. Even better would be a way to do it using a webhook type event.
Just in the last couple days. When I download a movie it goes to the completed folder like it should. Then It is suppose to go to a Movie folder. It only creates a folder with the movie name but doesn’t move the other files over. I haven’t change anything lately. Any thoughts?
