As we can see from the many posts and comments on this subreddit, we had a service impacting event last night for all platforms attached to the UsenetExpress backbone. I truly appreciate those of you who DM’d me, emailed me personally, or messaged me privately. Heck, I even had one of you amazing people message me through LinkedIn! Our dev team was aware, and working on the issue, but I was out of pocket and unable to make a post on Reddit or elsewhere to let people know what was going on.
Basically, we continue to outgrow the server cages we have been using as we have been adding a ton of new storage into our system. Our team has essentially been onsite for three straight weeks updating systems and adding enormous numbers of drives. The end result will be an even better product experience for our members and we will no longer have to maintain hardware in so many different data centers. Some people may have noticed some temporary issues on our system …
It doesn’t work for me on the US or EU servers.
Edit: Damn, seems like a lot of providers are down. A UsenetExpress issue, maybe?
Edit 2: Seems everything is working again.
It’s open again, started around 15 minutes ago
Website totally unreachable, sabnzd can’t connect to server anyone have any news?
Did NZBIndex change its format? I liked it better the way it was 3 days ago. Harder to navigate now.
Been travelling for the past month so I’ve been pretty out of the loop and didn’t realise that my phone updated the Plex app. Came back home last night and tried firing the app up on my phone and holy shit what a fucking turd.
I’m so sick of Plex updating crap that makes everything worse. The side bar was such a good solution, why add this “Browse Libraries” section to the middle of my homepage page now? Why mix everything up? Why do I now need to install more apps for music and photos? This is so ridiculous.
I wish I’d never bought the lifetime license. I really hate this new layout. Okay rant over.
I know I’m late to this, but it didn’t affect me until today. A few years ago, I was in a really bad accident and became disabled. The watch together feature was how I spent time with my friends as I can’t go out the way I used to. And the fact that they removed that destroyed me. I was having a rough night, and a few of my friends all said, let’s watch a movie for the first time in a few months. I was so excited to only have my hopes shot down. I know this is dumb, but it really meant a lot having a place to watch something with friends. I know we still can on a web browser, but a few of my friends don’t have PCs, so it was just so nice to spend that time together, and it’s gone now.
Wow. Just wow.
I mean what a platform.
Got this baby setup on a weekend afternoon thinking this whole time I needed a datacenter rack to really build my server.
But shit this old lady gave me this HP workstation with some decent ass specs. Like an 8th gen i3 but still. Upgraded it to 16gb ram DRR4 (had 8gb) and came with 2 hard drives (128gb Samsung nvme and a 1tb HDD). So it’s pretty fucking decent tbh. I was impressed with this plus it has a disc drive still so I can burn CDs if needed.
Now all I did was plug my 2tb external in the back, downloaded Plex server, created and scanned my libraries, and boom I had it all ready to go ready to serve on my network.
Been enjoying the shit out of it and wow such a good experience. The apps are quite fluid and have a nice UI to them. No problems streaming my content either, except a hiccup with subtitles but now I know what to do.
I’m a happy camper.
Hey folks,
I’m pretty new to Sonarr and I’m running into an issue I can’t figure out.
I added an ongoing TV series, and Sonarr keeps downloading a release for episode 4 — but that episode hasn’t aired yet. The file it grabs is a .arj
archive, which looks shady (possibly malware). Sonarr correctly marks it as a “potential dangerous file” and blocks it.
The problem is, even after I delete the file and add it to the blocklist, Sonarr keeps downloading the same file again. I now have three identical entries for it in the blocklist, and it’s still trying.
Is there a way to stop this from happening? I just want Sonarr to ignore this release permanently.
Thanks in advance!
The folder name has the correct episode name, but the actual file inside is a porn movie and its file name reflects that correctly. I use hydra2 to manage indexers, how to make sure that this doesn’t happen again? Any recommendations? Thanks!
Hoarders cover your ears. OCDarr -lite version. This is my rules management for sonarr. Let’s you set precisely how you want your shows to be handled, how many episodes to get, how many to keep. Check it out if you’d like https://github.com/Vansmak/OCDarr/tree/lite https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Vansmak/OCDarr/refs/heads/lite/Screenshot.png
I’m looking for feedback. I added some clean up parameters but it not something I do myself so not sure of best way. For me the heart of what I built is all about loading and unloading as I go. But I understand others like to keep things but not permanently so maybe an inactivity threshold or grace period used for cleaning old series, season or episodes?
1337x/flaresolverr seems to have stopped working…anyone else or just me?
Something is going on over at TMDB. Some of my movies in radarr show up as named.

EDIT: I made this post because its renaming movies in radarr and plex when radar did its updating, and i believe this guy is the culprit.
