The past few months, many of my Plex posters are changing to some just awfully edited ones. It’s clear someone is uploading them en masse because it’ll be most of my Marvel collection or most of my Pixar collection will just have these ugly stylized poster templates. When previously, the posters would be fairly consistent in sticking to the first result which is usually the most recognizable and iconic poster for the movie.
From what I understand, if you upload a custom poster it should never change. But if I manually select a poster, is it not supposed to change as well? Because I think I’ve done that plenty of times, I’m often selecting what poster I want after adding a movie.
It’s driving me nuts. Is this from Plex’s DB now?

I’m always looking for NASs based on their plex performance, as that’s what they’re used for the most (in my case). Of course, like most users, I try to stay within reason, but I was wondering what the benchmark of NAS I should be aiming for is. I personally have a 918+, as I live in reality, but what would be the monolith to acquire, that fills these requirements (Plug n Play solution)?
What is your NAS “whale” for Plex?
Edit: Wow, didn’t expect this question to take off so much. In a nutshell, I’m aware of most of the solutions being offered (45 drives is my favourite), and personally, I would probably go with building my own server (I already use my PC for server and my NAS as simple storage).
My question is what is the best AIO solution to run Plex for someone who doesn’t …
I’m pissed at Roku forcing an arbitration clause on all users a few days before announcing a data breach, so I don’t want to give them any more of my business.
I have an old Roku streaming stick in my travel trailer that doesn’t support HEVC (H.265) and I’d prefer to direct play those.
What do you recommend as a replacement? It needs to be small form-factor due to space limitations in the travel trailer.
Thanks
My father is 84, has alzheimers and lives in another city. He’s fairly lonely and spends so many hours watching TV that I think it’s a shame that he mostly watches the basic Swedish channels. They are wholesome but really don’t cater for his special interests.
He stopped playing golf 2 years ago, after more than 60 years, and about the same time we had to take his car away. In his youth he used to compete in races, he loves fast cars and watching any kind of racing.
I have tried so many ways to show him how to watch Netflix but he just can’t remember even if I draw elaborate instructions, duct tape the remote to only show the right buttons etc. This kills me because A) I’m a UX designer for 25 years so I know exactly how do design a system that he actually could operate and B) He LOVES Drive to Survive. And now that the golfing show is there as well, it would be fantastic.
My question to you all is how I can set something up so that I can control …
This is the third bug-fix release of SABnzbd 4.2.0.

was disabled.Just been informed my go to NZB indexer site has decided to close it’s doors due to difficulties in hosting the site.
It’s been a great ride, they had some great people over there and a good amount of content, but sadly in a months time it will stop.
I’ve always been an active member on any indexer I’ve used, adding more than taking.
A quick search shows Geek, NZBPlanet and DS as the main go to places, just wondering if there is a consensus at to which of the first two is more deserving of a subscription? I know DS had open registration last 1st April, so will be spamming the refresh button there this year, just in case.
Thanks

Hello, I’ve been using frugal with nzbgeek for a month now and it’s been great. What I’m wondering is I’m having some issues getting much older content, and more content in general. I’m wondering if I should get a yearly frugal account and get another provider and if so who?
Set off a few downloads last night. Came back today so find almost all failed.
Getting slow speeds 7MB with 1gig connection.
Keep getting the error in the title. Frugal not skipped a beat in about 3 years and overnight it’s failing.
I updated sab and restarted computer. Delete all queue and restarted the downloads but still getting this issue.
Any ideas appreciated!!
I switched away from frugal years ago due to retention concerns. Thought I would give them another chance, and it’s pretty much saturating my pipe. I highly recommend giving frugal another shot now that they have switched backbones.
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a project that was inspired by a thread from Douglas96 on Reddit, where the discussion highlighted the absence of a built-in mechanism in Radarr and Sonarr to handle stalled torrents.
Introducing Swaparr – a solution aimed at addressing stalled torrents in Radarr and Sonarr.
Swaparr quietly operates in the background, offering full customization options and clear visibility through console logs. Its primary function is to address the issue of stalled torrents in Radarr and Sonarr instances.

I’m building a companion app for Radarr (and soon Sonarr), help me break it and tell me what features you’re missing.
While LunaSea is excellent, I wanted a Apple-like look & feel and something that work well on iPad and a Mac as well, so I built Ruddarr which is available on TestFlight:
https://testflight.apple.com/join/WbWNuoos
The app and all its features will be free forever, except for notifications because they require servers and cost money to run. Subscriptions are free and don’t incur charges on TestFlight.
The code will be open source on GitHub once it hits v1.0.
I wrote a small and efficient Telegram bot for Sonarr in Go. Let me know what you think.
“Not a Custom Format upgrade for existing movie file(s).”
Well then why in the world did you download it and why are you wasting my time?? Why does it grab releases that are downgrades? Is there a setting I missed?
