Usenet providers make very little off of block prices. If you have unlimited on non-Omicron providers, put them higher in your download priority settings. This will ensure that others can get reasonable retention by using non-Omicron options. Download statistics on articles lead to keep/purge decisions on articles. Putting equal priority does not help since it can lead to incomplete coverage. Omicron has been buying up smaller providers and this helps ensure that the market remains competitive. A competitive market helps us all as consumers. It is understandable if you cannot afford more than one provider that you go with Omicron. This post is aimed at those of us with multiple backbones. Thanks for reading!
FYI, it seems it’s all fixed at least on my side none of my downloads are failing anymore.
Dunno why other topic get removed and locked tho.
My ex girlfriend used to be on my Plex server. Now Plex insists on constantly reminding me about the relationship. It won’t stop showing me our activity on shows we watched. I unfriended her on Plex and it still continues to do it. Can someone recommend a way to get this to go away, it would be nice to have to look at it every time I watch something.
So I know this isn’t specifically Plex related, but this is the place where I see people talk about Docker more than anywhere else. I recently moved my server from a macOS machine to a Windows PC. I use all the arr apps, and I’ve been convinced that docker is probably the best setup for me.
However, every guide I’ve seen talk to me like I have a background in coding. Like, I’m an idiot. I need a guide that can take me from idiot to just barely not an idiot and can handle docker for his needs. Any suggestions?
This phenomenonal tool has been out for years now and for some reason no one made a gui for it despite the ridiculous amount of customization for it, i wonder why. Plex is a media server and with pmm it becomes a streaming platform.
It’s annoying but it’s not like Plex can actually fix it.
Here’s a short Howto I made on setting up radarr to prioritise x265 1080p efficient encodes. As is, ideally ~4⁄5 GB files are downloaded. If you want larger file you could increase the size on the slider.
I’ve tested it via usenet and it works great. Let me know if you have an alternative setup too :)
I was about to implement trash guides, but read that this was for the best quality, regardless og filesize.
I don’t have a ton of space, so for me filesize if often more important than quality.
Is there something similar, focused on lower filesize ?
This is probably something easy but I’m new to this. I’ve been following this guide and been going very well. When I go to set the root folder I get Unable to add root folder Path '/data/media/movies' does not exist
. Navigating the file browser only shows the folders like app bin command config data
etc. and I cant navigate up to any other files.
Any ideas? I assume it has to do with this line in the setup file volume1/data/:/data
but I dont know enough to troubleshoot.
Hi, I know this feature I am asking for does not exist, but maybe someone can help me find a way to get it with a combination of apps or maybe make the suggestion for someone to develop it.
Now you can feed Radarr with a list of movies, wouldn’t it be great to be able to feed it with a list of people as well and then if a movie directed or starring one of those people appears it will be monitored by Radarr? Actually this is not an enhancement for Radarr but for some of the apps that index movies like Letterboxd.
For example: I monitor Martin Scorsese. Each time Scorsese directs a new film, and that film appears on the database, it gets automatically added to the list and monitored.
Thank you!
Hello,
I looked but either missed or didn’t have the right queries for this question. Is it possible to upgrade series to a lower quality based on age in your library? I like to watch newer shows in a higher quality but then after a while since I don’t want to delete the shows (bit of a data hoarder) it would be nice to upgrade shows after a few months to a lower quality. Is this possible?
