Hi all. We’ve had a severe site and database issue, maybe at the worst time.
I’m looking to restore from backup, adding updates to our status page. Users who have signed up over the last 4-6 weeks may not be able to sign in until we can restore from a backup.
Wanted to post here to avoid any conspiracies - we’re still around and not disappearing/running away.
The May Day sale has been overwhelming, thank you for your support! We’ll get this sorted out ASAP.
EDIT: Affected users have been notified via mail, we’ve also published a write-up of what’s gone wrong.
We’ve recovered 100% of our user data, 98% of those fully automated around upgrades.
EDIT2: As of 22:00 UTC on 9 May 2024 we’ve completely recovered. Thanks to all of our users and this community for the encouraging words.

Hi, I just discovered there is a thing named usenet exist couple of days ago !!!
I decided to subscribe to a usenet provider and then indexer .
For indexer I chose NZBgeek.
But for provider I confused. Most of them have yearly subscription which is costly for me. So I found Frugal $3.99 and Usenetnew $4.49 p/m
Which I can choose? OR any thing more out there? please help me
My needs or 3000+ NZB downloads and 500+ Mbps unlimited bandwidth per month.
Also, one question by a newbie :
Does a single Usenet provider have all contents from an indexer retrieved list for a search ?
Also, is NZBgeek is good one?
If you find yourself struggling with playing back media files that contain Bluray (PGS) or DVD subtitles (Vobsub), you may have resorted to finding external SRT subtitles elsewhere, as these play much better on most Plex clients. While there exists solutions that automate this step (such as bazarr), more obscure media may not get any matches using these services.
By combining multiple packages and programs for managing media, I have created a utility/service that can perform the post-processing I usually do to media files, automatically. The utility currently supports the following features:
I was an early adopter to full dvd/bd rips and my setup has slowly gotten larger over the years. I’m currently at 12x 8tb drives in a raid6 setup with an older dedicated raid card, approx 80tb of usable space.
It’s getting close to 2/3rd full and I’m planning the next steps.
I’m debating keeping the raid card or going with software raid or??? My biggest worries are that the card takes a crap and takes the array with it.
18-20tb drives seem to be the sweet spot now?
Mine is reaching 96 GB for 12 TB of Movies/Series. Normal? How big is yours?

Hello! I am looking into setting up the arrs and I was wondering if there are any downsides to using the Truenas apps? I don’t have a whole lot of compute left on my proxmox server and I have qbittorrent and plex running as truenas apps currently. Any reason I shouldn’t throw the suite into truenas as well?
It’s worked great for years and now today when I try to start it up it just fails to connect like my internet is down. But my internet isn’t down and I’m not sure how to start trouble shooting it.
I want to have a solution where When I have watched on Plex, and it is marked as Watched, then Sonarr should stop upgrading it. Normally, I have t do it manually from Sonarr. Is there any way to automate it ?
Edit:
I found a post and its script for the same purpose. https://www.reddit.com/r/sonarr/comments/z4mk09/made_a_script_to_unmonitor_episodes_when_watched/ .
However, now the issue is remaining only on Plex Side. Plex doesn’t have any webhooks for “Watched” event.
Anyone know of a non-manual way to create a folder named after each file and move the file into each folder please?
Hi,
I have recently discovered the arrs and have them installed on a mini pc with the downloads and media folders (separate shares) on cifs shared and mounted to the mini pc. Downloads are on a separate physical disk and share in the Nas.
If I run all arrs and qbitorrent on the mini pc and move my shares to a single shared (data) folder on my Nas which is presented to the mini pc as /mnt/data will I be able to speed up my moves? If the containers are on a different machine to the media folder?
Thanks!
