When selecting a Film actor, it invariably turns out to be a roll in a TV series that we recognize them from. But since we were in a Film cast looking them up, we only get to see other Films that they were in. Then it becomes necessary to type their name into a search window and select TV to finally find out that they were in Game of Thrones or whatever.
What a difference it would make if after scrolling through the Film roles, Plex had a TV Banner followed by all the TV roles the actor played.
Hi all,
Soon I want to release SABnzbd 3.5.0, so I was hoping some more people would like to run the release candidate and report any bugs they find!
You can see the changes and get the download here: https://sabnzbd.org/downloads
Thank you!
I’ll be doing some maintenance in the next few hours and will be rebooting some machines too so do not panic when your browser says the website is unavailable :-)
I recently saw that Usenext has started adverting on Reddit ads. They have a new banner ad that displays in our main feed on this subreddit advertising themselves as Europes #1 provider.
A few weeks ago I saw a user comment that he had been swayed to sign up for Ninja because of all the ads, so I know the ads will convert at least some newbies to a provider. I want to be sure anyone who does not know the history of Usenext does their research before signing up. It really only takes one quick search on this sub and you will find that Usenext has a history of not allowing users to cancel their membership and more recently had a major hack of their client that exposed user details.
Just search for “usenext” in the subreddit. The headings of the posts should be enough indicator. There are years of people complaining about not being able to cancel the billing there!
Also, when doing a google search for Usenext I see they have a 94% approval rating on TrustPilot. Trustpilot is a …
I came back to Usenet after 4-5 years. Everything is so much smoother with these Docker-based images and guides!
Anyway, I used to have Newshosting at $15/mo and a block provider (called Blocknews?) when I was using it the next time.
I renewed my Newshosting plan for $15/mo and they don’t disappoint me now either. However reading some posts here I gather I’m paying way too much, am I right?
Is there anything comparable in quality and support but not as expensive?
Edit: thanks for the quick and useful help everyone!
I was DM’d by /u/rick-danny yesterday asking if I’d like to try out his new all-in-one Usenet client called MagicNZB.
Based on the website, it looks like they’re trying to combine indexer, provider, and storage into one platform, all with a web-based portal.
VERY limited info about who the providers are they’re sourcing from, and an extremely limited ToS that doesn’t really say much to the effect of protecting its users.
Their FAQ and ToS have me extremely leery of what they’re offering compared to their fee.
Based on all that, and the guy’s very limited Reddit account, it sounds like a scam to me.
EDIT: Here’s a screenshot to the DM he sent me.

Right now I have v3 Sonarr and all my TV Shows + Anime are in the same directory. For Plex to create separate Anime Library I would like to move all Anime to its own Root. I’m wondering can I use the Mass Editor and just change the Root for all the anime and it will Move the files for me? and if so, is that safe or is there risk of bad things happening and should I just manually move all the folders and re-import?
I understand that using the /all endpoint is a bad idea and i should add each indexer individually but i have tons of trackers in jackett and i dont feel like adding them all individually can i still use the /all endpoint if i want to

Edit:im gonna try out prowlarr and see if it better fits my needs ill come back with results
Edit2:prowlarr worked

I have lots of anime download with preferred words set up to prefer dual audio, however I may get a episode with Japanese audio but then 3 months later it may be available dubbed in English.
Is there something I can set so it will always look for the English language and upgrade to English when available until then keep Japanese ?
