Found a Bestbuy USA listing for a new controller from Steelseries that I couldn’t find any info about anywhere else. Delivery on 9⁄09 if I order it now. $260
Hey r/Controller , the GuliKit Team sent this unit over for review, but all opinions are completely my own! I’ve been testing the GuliKit TT Max ($70) for the past 2-4 days—mostly grinding Apex Legends and kicking back with various single-player games.
If you’re looking for a solid symmetrical (PlayStation-style) pro controller packed with modern features, here is my honest breakdown:

xbox symbol used to turn on red, came home from work and found it, plan to retire it before it fully dies or maybe i’ll play it till the buttons fall off, either way just a little tribute post to one of my favorite controllers
I got the Vader 5 Pro recently (I don’t game a lot, I play maybe a couple hours per month) and I am not sure whether the discomfort in my hands comes specifically from the Vader 5 Pro or just from using controllers again after a long time.
For some context, I used to play games on PS4 via the normal dualshock controller that comes with the PS4. However, since a long time now (6+ years) I have been solely playing on mouse and keyboard, so my hands are not used to controllers at all anymore.
Anyhow, now that I have the controller, I played some Ghost of Tsushima and Apex Legends with it, and I felt quite some discomfort in terms of hands cramping/being unnaturally positioned when holding the controller.
I don’t really have a comfortable grip on the 4 backpaddels in combination with the triggers. Even if I completely ignore the back paddels, the triggers still feel weird to me for my grip. I am used to click them with the fingertip basically, but now my whole finger lays on …

This is a combination I’d especially love the …
OK, not the typical manybagger bag, but thought I’d share for anyone interested.
We travel to southern Spain and Portugal around 3-4x per year, and always love the wines there. Tasty, fewer preservatives, and much less expensive than we would pay for the same in NY. In particular, there are some great local “vinos de municipio” which you can’t buy anywhere else. And since I have an apartment in Spain, I never need to check a bag.
So, I picked up this wine suitcase from VinGardeValise - it’s their lower end FlyWithWine model. Super protection with custom-fitted foam for 12 bottles. For this trip, I max’d out at 10 bottles of wine and 2 tins of oilve oil. The bottles for red wine are slightly thicker (heavier) than white, so filling it with all 12 would have pushed me over the 50 pound limit.
I’m sure that DIYers could easily cust foam to shape and build this in any hardside luggage, but this one works well and met my needs.
I compared it to the higher end …
Hi everyone! It’s Alfred from Nomads Nation bringing you my thoughts after testing the new Rework Toshi Pack v2 for two weeks. This time I tested the 20L XPAC version.
I did previously test the v1 (ballistic nylon, 20L version) and understandably many folks here are familiar with it. I will be straight with you off the bat, other than new material and capacity SKUs, the pack itself does not change by a large margin, I would classify most changes as incremental design changes only. Therefore I would like to give my thoughts on the v2 pack as a whole instead of doing a comparison. I have to say, the bag is just overall well designed and shows that Rework knows what their buyers want in a minimal EDC pack.
Build quality and materials
As expected of a bag series that gained popularity in such a short time, I found the build of the Toshi Pack v2 to be high quality. A brand new addition to the series is the material choice of XPAC this time, I think the technical material enjoyers …
That’s it. That’s the post. Everyday workhorse. Personal item of legend. Gym to office chameleon.
I promised Alfred at Nomads Nation that I would report back when I got my MNL/Elecom City Pack in re/cor. The company has released this bag in the U.S. and elsewhere in X-Pac and I was intrigued from the jump because it seemed to me like the bastard child of Aer and Evergoods, in the best possible way.
I don’t adore X-Pac (it’s crinkly and it doesn’t really hold its shape, and there are so many diamonds), so I tracked down this puppy in both ballistic and re/cor on Buyee. Went with the re/cor and it’s… well, it’s delicious. It holds its shape, looks and feels premium and is very subtle.
Onto the bag.
Those front pockets. One on each side. Yes, Rework Toshi vibes, but separate. I love ‘em. I know Aaron doesn’t dig them because he has to think about which side he’s swingin’ around his shoulder, and I get that, but I love that they each have their own space and can have different use cases (what is a use case anyway?). It …
This is probably an old trick for the veterans, but maybe a new hack for some folks. My upcoming trip is likely to have some pretty chilly days, and I was worrying about what jacket to bring due to size issues in the bag. But this seems to be a nice solution!
Just in case of help/interest - first trip with the Osprey 26+6 so took a couple of pics at the airport in sizers. Was in a rush so didn’t pop the straps in the Ryanair one but was well under the line. This is it compressed but by no means packed to the gills (only away for a weekend) so definitely more room available if required.

Hi all, just thought I would post as a bit of a vent.
Just gone through security in Austria and my heroclip (which to be honest I don’t use and never have so no big loss) has been taken by security.
They said I can use as a knuckle duster I’m kind of shocked.
Edit;
It was the medium size.
I have had it on what must be well over 100 flights mostly Europe, but several times in Japan and China (about 8 internal flights in china) and a handful of flights in Africa (sub Saharan) and a few in the middle east.
Never once has it been questioned.
Hello all, I’m heading off to Europe from Australia with my wife on Thursday for 25 days. The itinerary is 7 days in Barcelona, 3 in Paris, 5 in Oslo, 4 in Prague, 6 through Poland.
This will be my first multi week trip one bagging and first time in Europe. Although I will be 1.5 bagging it because we have allowance for carry on and I might as well. Having said that, I can easily place my sling bag loaded into the Cotopaxi if need be. I am open to any recommendations for changes to clothing or lists. Anything to remove or that may be unnecessary I’m all ears.
In future I think I can cut bag to a smaller bag, something like a Refugio 26L or similar as it’s unlikely I’ll take my running gear. Currently my Cotopaxi without the sling weighs in at 6.3kg
Bags:
Cotopaxi Allpa 28L
Rework Toshi 2.5L sling
Thule Compression Cubes 1 Medium + 1 Small
Clothing:
1 Cap
1 Patagonia synchilla
1 New Balance 997 Made in USA
1 Mizuno Neo Vista (running shoes)
3 Shorts …

Hello folks. Just coming back from both my most ambitious and probably my most successful onebag trip yet! A few months ago I posted about a trip where I tried to be more fashionable than granola girl, while staying in 40L. It worked pretty well, but I also didn’t really care about weight.
This time, I made a LOT more cuts, and got down to a 25L backpack and around 15lb packed weight. We covered around 30mi and 13k ft of elevation gain in the Swiss alps on a hut to hut hike over a few days, where we carried everything on our packs. We then spent two days in Zurich exploring the city. Here’s what I took, what worked well, and what didn’t!
What I Packed (including travel clothes):
2x pants
1x shorts
1x merino base layer pants
2x merino tops and 3x normal synthetic tops
5x socks
6x underwear
Fleece
Midweight thermal running half zip
Down jacket
Rain jacket …
Disclaimer, I’m a big fan of the ultra fabric. I have the BD Beta 30L , 30L dragonfly and SMD ADC+ all in Ultra.
Did a quick comparison with chz22 v2
Ctb could take 10L, 4L , a cap2 in main compartment, and medium MR void in the vertical pocket. All overstuffed. Chz22 couldn’t take the cap2
I have a chz26 v2 out on loan to a friend, but I think the chz26 will take more than the ctb26. Will compare once I get it back
I love the yoke pocket opening into the laptop compartment (why couldn’t the v3 chz have this ?)
The bag came badly squished.the x pattern is already creased in on the sides. Not a big deal but wish EG would store and ship these with some filler inside. We should break in the bags, it’s shouldn’t happen during shipping.
Fabric aside, I was pleasantly surprised by the packing cubes design. It’s designed in a way that you overfill it and it compresses.
If you have any questions , want more comparisons, etc let me know
Got undyed mhp from eBay thinking to color dye it
What do you guys recommend ? Burnt orange or coyote brown or signal blue or wolf grey ?
I need help deciding between - Aer City Pack (ultra) vs Evergoods CPL16 (x pac)
(any advice or recommendations appreciated)
I work a hybrid schedule with work - some days/weeks in the office and some traveling so I am looking for a bag for both:
This is usually what I carry in my EDC:
When I travel I carry all the above and also:
The gear I am showing here is currently on the inside top pocket of the CPL 16. I am curious if it would all fit in the CAP 0.5, while still protecting my eyeglasses and sunglasses as I stop using the hardshell case that came with my eyeglasses. If so, would the CAP 0.5 then fit in the same inside top pocket?
I have the QAP reserved for my large phone, keys, wallet, and earbuds (phone and keys are separated by an empty neoprene phone sleeve). The front vertical pocket is reserved for pens, index cards, a5 notebook, and a few tiny things in the mesh pocket. Anyway, I’m curious if the CAP 0.5 would make sense for me to buy or if I should instead get a CAP 2 and put everything you see here in the CAP 2 instead, along with the other bits currently in the front pocket. What would you recommend here?
I’m in need of a new EDC bag and I narrowed it down to the CTB20 and CPL24. However, what’s keeping me from pulling the trigger is the controversial back panel for the Evergoods bags. I’ve also saw some reviews that state the bag digging issue is more prominent in the CTB20 compared to the CPL24. I’ve own the CPL 16 in the past and I did experience the digging issue but I was told it was due to the small size
I would really appreciate everyone’s feedback.
Thank you in advance.
