I live in sweden and i’d like to buy myself a new controller for around 700SEK which is around $70 put preferrably below.
I really wanna buy one since i am currently using a nintendo switch pro controller and i’d like a controller that can connect with xinput and directinput. I’d also like the ability to connect to a nintendo switch for when i have friends over. I really like the clicky triggers of the pro controller so i’d like adjustable triggers so i can have both clicky and non clicky. being wireless is preferred but not a must. having hall effect or tmr sticks is also preferred but not a must. i will be playing a lot of souls games like sekiro and elden ring and also games like expedition 33 and hades thus having clicky triggers will be nice.
i was looking at the 8bitdo pro 3, 8bitdo ultimate 2 (found for around 50 bucks refurbished) and a gamesir nova 2 lite. please help
I saw this poster for the Flydigi Black Warrior / “Vader 5 Pro”, showing a pre-sale on November 7th. [DCInside]
No official specs yet, but the teaser looks slick.
What improvements are you hoping for over the previous models?
Stuff like:
-Better Hall / TMR trigger response
-Smoother gyro or lower motion latency
-Tweaked build quality, ergonomics, or software upgrades
I’m looking for a controller with extra buttons that can be mapped to keyboard keys. The reason is that I play some games where it really helps to have more buttons that actually map to more functions (eg selecting gears in Snowrunner, wacky functions in BeamNg). For years I used the Elite 2 in combination with ReWASD, but now it is falling apart.
I bought a Nacon Revolution X Unlimited because it is the only one I could find that advertises back buttons mappable to keyboard kes. But one of the buttons is broken so I’m returning it. I liked the Nacon, but I didn’t love it.
So I wonder are there any other Xbox style controllers for PC with at least 4 extra buttons that can be mapped to keyboard actions, or should I just order a new Nacon X? HAL effect is a must. I would like gyro too. Budget is <300EUR. I live in the Netherlands. I don’t play any competitive games, and barely any shooters, but I don’t want a high latency or low polling rate.
Update: I’m going for the Apex 5 (Late Ming Dynasty version, because I don’t like white peripherals). It seems like a really high quality controller. It has more …

These were from Porter, MoMA and Hands. I realized my attempt to take pics of all the bags at Hands was pretty futile since there’s just way too many and gave up 🥸 Idk the exact address, but I think it was all in the same 2 connected towers of a Pokemon Center.
I’m starting to lose track of where these photos were taken but most probably correspond with a Pokemon Center. Kyoto, Osaka, Omeda, Shinsaibashi, Namba. I think it was the Omeda Hands location that had bags on sale. Luckily, I decided to leave most of my money at home so I wouldn’t unnecessarily come back with a bag. But the Uniqlo bags were cheap asf so I did buy some for gifts.
I had the original but I had to upgrade once I saw this collab
It took me about a month to design cuz im super slow and just over a day to print, shes been loving it!! The top two “ribs” and collar bone split open (its mirrored on both sides) and has a fully rotating handle. Thanks for looking!
Like most of you here, I’m guilty of owning way too many bags and spending hours researching the “perfect” one. But after a year with the Daylight, I realized something: it’s become my entire travel system—and it only cost me $100.
This isn’t a review—it’s a wake-up call to all of us paying $300+ for features we don’t actually need.
The Competition: My Minaal Carry-On ($300) was my go-to for week-long trips: premium hardware, built-in packing cubes, hidden passport pocket, the sleek looks. The Osprey Porter 46 handled longer hauls with its massive main compartment and the genius compression system. Both fantastic bags. Both gathering dust along with some other bags that I don’t even want to talk about
The Plot Twist
Here’s what hit me: despite being rated smaller, the Daylight actually carries more than the Minaal. It’s very close in capacity to the Porter but takes up way less space. How? No overbuilt laptop fortress. No …
Been sharing bits of this here for a while — SCOUT, a magnetic sling made for the Switch 2. A huge thanks to everyone here who shared feedback and suggestions earlier — they really helped shape the final version.
Made for people who want to play anywhere — at a café, in the office, or on the way home — just grab it and play a few rounds. The new all-black version feels different from the black-white combo — more discreet, more silent, and blends in anywhere.
They always say you can go lighter: planning to do some laundry over there, and those jeans won’t be in the backpack since i’ll be wearing them. And in the picture there’s a Down Sweater missing which I packed in its own pocket.
Probably i’ll buy some nice denim and heritage clothing over there, but im planning to get a packable duffle and bring those clothes in it. So the whole one-bag motto will work for the first half of my trip.
When I get home from a business trip, I’ll do a bit of a resupply if needed (usually just toiletries & spare airtag batteries) and swap out clothes, but then I immediately repack everything but medications and ID documents.
I’m always packed with my baseline business travel setup. The only thing that changes is sometime I’ll swap into a slightly bigger bag to haul cold-weather/destination specific outerwear, but part of coming home is to immediately repack the bag so it’s always ready for the next trip. I’ve done this for decades, and the people I’ve traveled with for business do the same thing.
Hey everyone,
after 6 years of traveling several months each year, I have reached a setup that feels like a great balance between comfort and minimalism.
I started 6 years ago with a 70L backpack. Every year I cut down more, refined, and optimized. Now I’m down to a Patagonia MLC Mini (Black).
This year’s route: Turkey → Egypt → possibly Sri Lanka, China and Japan (winter). I don’t know yet if the barefoot shoes + merino socks combo holds up in colder temps - we‘ll see
🎒 Main Bag * Patagonia MLC Mini (Black) - I think it’s 30L. * 3 compression cubes (1 large, 2 small) * Laundry bag * Lululemon Crossbody Bag
———
👕 Clothing * 5 × T-shirts (Mostly Uniqlo Airism) * 3 × tank tops (Uniqlo Airism) * 1 × merino wool long arm shirt (Uniqlo) * Underwear & socks for about 10 days * 2 × long extra-warm Merino wool socks * 2 × sport shorts (Decathlon) * 1 × casual white shorts * 1 × long pants (Uniqlo) * 1 × compressible down jacket (Uniqlo) * 1 × rain jacket (North Face) * 1 × cap

So I’ve slowly been refining my one bag packing list. I’m doing 3 weeks in SEA with multiple countries, transfers and stops. I’m not working while travelling so can limit my tech, staying in hotels and hand washing.
This pack comes under 6kgs and there’s still space in the bag. Any advice on if I should take any extra items (another shirt)? I’m still looking for a good water bottle that will fit in the Bellroy Lite Sling.

Heading out from O’Hare for two months in Turkey and Lebanon.
A little over-stuffed because I’ve got two laptops (don’t ask). 🙂
After learning a lot from this forum I have found a setup that works for me .
Any advice to improve this will be greatly appreciated.

Price is a bit too high for me, regardless of seeing the features (unless it includes cash in a hidden pocket).
This bag has been a beast. Just took it on a month long trip from Missouri to California and back, stopping at every place on the way. Hiked in Moab, Joshua Tree, White Sands and Phoenix, walked the Vegas Strip, went bouldering in the Mojave Preserve- all while lugging 2 15inch MBAs around.
Everything inside it was kept safe and sound, and the outside of the back still looks practically new. Used a rain fly from Amazon for any weather (since I couldn’t get the coyote in xpac).
Can’t say enough great things about it!
(Last pic is today. Didn’t even really have to wipe it down after, either.)
After some hunting, I managed to find a BNWT Phoenix CTB with a patch too :D It’s a grail I’ve been hunting for a while and finally found one. I have completed the trifecta: I have the Griffin, Kludde, and Phoenix now.
Watching the video, I can say this thing is growing on me and I can even imagine such a setup as a personal item for travel. Magnetic closure looks awesome, organization is spot on as always.
I just really struggle with the price. $200? In Europe, we’ll pay like 220€ I imagine. For a tote.
No, I just can’t. There are amazing endgame totes at half the cost.
Made the switch from my modded mhp 3.5 to a cas 2 v2 and id say they do carry similarly.bit the strap on the cas 2 is way more comfortable.loadput might be a bit tighter but its still workable for.my use.kinda wishing it had a grab handle at the sides or a strap.causw i tend to grab the sides maybe ill sew them on the wing pieces
