Woke up and they were like this. I have never had this problem with any other of my controllers.
Playing a lot of Battlefield 6 on PS5 and find there just aren’t enough buttons for all the actions I want on the controller.
Made this 3D printed mod that attaches a 3 button programmable keyboard to the controller. The keyboard connects to the PS5 via a dongle, and I use the Brooke FGC2 to connect the Excellence.
BF6 supports controller and keyboard at the same time, so it’s 3 extra buttons for me.
This setup are fully mechanical — no electronics at all. Just pure physics. It’s simple, reliable, and feels like the Toyota of back button designs.
Mine is a Dualshock 3 I’ve had since 2012. And i love how all the buttons still works with no analog drift

First, let me sat that my wife was the one who actually found it 😅. After searching for the past 2 days I was feeling a bit defeated/annoyed. I was checking their website for locations but it was sold out where ever I went. It was a dang treasure hunt to find one. By the end of the second day, my feet where killing me and still not adjusted to the time change, I was exhausted. After visiting Hands in Shinsaibashi and having no luck, my wife pulled up Able Carry’s website for me and with a fresh second set of eyes, saw that MoMA carried them and it was just a couple floors down. We headed down and tucked into the corner, behind another bag, was a blue Max EDC! I was told that this was a display model and all they had new was green and black. I really wanted blue and they agreed to let me buy it 😁. I got 5% off and with tax free refund, it was a bit cheaper than buying back in the U.S.. I am super stoked to have it on the rest of this trip!
She lands on Able Carry, and considers what it would be if she had chosen Aer CPP2. Similar to pretty much everyone in this sub. Good video.
It’s that time of the year. Let’s post the deals we are seeing
Hi guys,
We’re a small team of consumers and travellers from India. There aren’t many outdoor gear brands here, but there is a growing need for high-function, reliable gear. With that in mind, we started building an outdoor gear brand a year ago one focused on functionality over aesthetics.
After extensive research, countless trials, errors, learnings, and improvements, we’ve finally created a product that lays the foundation for our brand and for a community that values functional outdoor gear from India.
We’re launching the products on Kickstarter of which details you will find below. We’re thankful to this community for all the learnings. We hope you like it. Please do follow.
found by ico_san, these might be poorly auto translated so take it with a grain of salt.
I bought the Uniqlo messenger bag. Really like it for the size. And it’s an actual messenger bag not a crossbody which I hate. Only down size is….it looks cheap. Anyone have recommendations of other similar messenger bags? I really like messenger bags.

I am curious what is something extremly odd/random that you travel with.
My answer would be a 2” piece of heat-shrink tubing. I used to always travel with a spare pare of glasses, but considering I usually pack in a < 10L bag, having a spare pair was not worth it as a “just in case” item. A few months ago, luckily at home, I broke a pair of glasses. I do a lot of MYOG and realized I could put them back together with a pair of heat-shrink tubing I had on hand. Now I always bring a small piece in my travel kit because it will fix broken glasses indefinitely :)
This is my ZPacks Bagger 25L. I loved everything about it except it didn’t have a vertical front access pouch. Also, the closed cell foam sit pad sleeve on the back fit and protected my laptop perfectly, except my laptop would slide out when I put the bag under the seat on the plane.
I found a seamstress who knows a sail maker who put in two vertical zippers on either side of the front pouch and added a zipper to the back sit pad sleeve.
Now it’s the perfect travel bag for me.
Hey community, im seeking some guidance mainly on which bag you would lean towards in anticipation for a 2 year solo travel backpacking journey around Asia. I’ll be beginning in Japan in 2 weeks, and eventually in no particular order, making my way to Korea, China, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and surrounding countries.
It’s between the Osprey Daylite 26+6, and the Osprey Kestrel 48 -which ive recently taken with me on 2 years around Central and South America.
Osprey 26+6 On one hand the osprey 26+6 offers a smaller (17x12x6 inch)) package, a lighter package (0.84kg empty) and guaranteed acceptance on base airline tickets across Asia. It’s fully packed at the moment (photos included) with just about everything I’ll be bringing in it’s compressed 26L form and there’s still room on the lid. Let alone the extra 6L if I want to expand it. Where it limits me a little bit is having the type of extra space where I’m able to buy something while …
Hi, recently I was lucky to join the Osprey Daylite 26+6 club and on my way home I tested it in the Ryanair and Wizzair Personal Item cages - just for fun. Techincally the dimensions of the bag as described in their website is larger than the dimensions Ryanair and Wizzair specify, but it can squeeze a little bit on it’s longer part so it was quite easily inserted to both. The bag was not in the expanded mode, and it was not super tightly full.
In addition, I think this bag is quite amazing, comfort on the shoulders and back is not bad, and the space inside is amazing. I also like the way you can open the bag like a suitcase, and the compartments it has. And it looks good.
I used it for my 12 day spain trip also as my day pack. During the day I tried to load it with as little as items as possible because this backpack lacks any backsystem/hip straps. As long as it was not heavy it was fine. I even used it in some day hikes, and again, I kept my stuff in the backpack to the …
One of my favorite things about traveling with only a personal item (underseat) and not a carry-on (overhead) is not competing with the insanity to grab overhead space. Another is not having to jump out of my seat after landing to retrieve my overhead bag and get a spot in the aisle.
Any others?
CTB20, it can be a little heavy sometimes, especially in waxed canvas, and it does get hot on your back after a while, but man i cant help but love it. The material, the form, the organization and deceptive capacity. I dont have a problem with the straps or back digging at all like some people so i love this bag. If they could figure out something different for the back panel it would be literally the perfect backpack.
After dozens of hours researching my “perfect” backpack, I landed on the CTB26. My use case was pretty specific:
1) Must fit under an airplane seat, alongside my Rimowa Cabin when I wanted to two bag. 2) Must work for 1–3 day business trips (clothes + tech + looking professional) 3) Must be durable enough to keep long-term
My last two bags were the original Aer Travel Pack and a 2018 Peak Design Everyday Backpack. Both were solid, but my travel style changed and I no longer need camera-focused organization.
So I was really surprised when the CTB26 didn’t feel great out of the box.
I wasn’t getting true “body contact,” and I could feel noticeable pressure in my lower back. Not painful, but enough that it broke the illusion of the bag disappearing on my back. I also had to wear it very high and tight (to an extreme) to shift weight to my upper back, which felt odd.
What I tried
I bought a 24” x 24” x 1/4” EVA foam sheet (helmet-style padding, ~$20), cut it to the width of the frame …
While I was away, my wife used my duffel as checked luggage. I tried to wash out some marks with a rag and some dish soap. Just lightly rubbed them, but it seems to have left some dark spots. Does anyone have tips for a more proper clean?
I’ve had my eye on the CPL 16 for a while now but I was wondering if anyone here currently uses or has used it for bike commuting and how comfortable did/does it feel while biking? My commute will be about 15 to 30 minutes and I’ll also be carrying a 16 inch laptop in the bag, if that matters.
