Hi, I recently bought this Flydigi gamepad with my own money—not sent to me by the company—and I’m not a competitive player. Just wanted to clarify that up front. After using it for a few days, here’s my take on it.
Backstory I’ve been using an 8bitdo Ultimate 2C controller that I bought for $20, which I like overall. However, its shape isn’t my thing, so I decided to upgrade and try something else. After doing some research, I decided to spend a little more this time around, and that’s how I ended up with this controller. Again, I’m just a casual player, I don’t have many requirements for my controller. I’ve tested this controller with the following games: ZZZ, Hellblade, Forza Horizon 4, Apex Legends, Mortal Kombat 11
Software and Setup A quick Google search for Flydigi software took me to their website, where I only found version 3. I knew there was a version 4, so I had to search specifically for it. Once I found it, the software itself worked fine. I updated …
Disclosures: I am in no way employed by or affiliated with the makers of any of these products. I did, however, receive review units of the Hallpi/Gulikit sticks from Aknes on the promise that I would review them. All other sticks were purchased by me.
For years, the controller community has been fighting a losing battle against analog stick drift. The standard ALPS potentiometers used in virtually every major controller—from Sony to Microsoft to Nintendo—are fundamentally flawed mechanical components. They rely on physical contact to track movement, meaning they are essentially designed to fail. It’s not a matter of if they will drift, but when.
This planned obsolescence has sparked a technological arms race to create a permanent, “drift-proof” replacement. The first wave of this revolution was Hall Effect technology, which promised to solve the problem by using magnets to measure position without physical contact. Now, …

I preordered the Vador 5 Pro on Taobao first day with my own money. It was shipped by air to me in US.
Finally got the Vador 5 Pro after some delays in shipping. So far I have used it for about 10h and I want to share some early thoughts (and rants) on this controller that is supposed to be the holy grail for FPS for me.
For context, I am a heavy FPS player (sweaty but not good enough to consider competitive). My main games are COD, Warzone and Battlefield 6. I have been using the Vador 4 Pro since its release and it had been serving me well despite some small disappointments.
Below are my impressions on the Vador 5 Pro, with comparison to the Vador 4 Pro.
Pros:
Hi r/controller community,
I wanted to create this topic after seeing problems with broken buttons on the paddles of the Apex 5.
After testing the Vader 5 Pro for 2 weeks now, I can see the problem with this paddles (a small preview is available on my Youtube for those who are interested).
Personnaly I really like the placement of these paddles but they seem very fragile if you you use them a lot like me🎮
But why are they fragile ? Because when you press a paddle, this one doesn’t really stop after the button activation and if you hard press it, this can be a problem overtime.
The solution is to put a self-adhesive rubber stop inside the paddle in order to prevent the extra course of the paddle. The maximum height you can stick between the paddle and the controller is 2 millimeters.
On Amazon, these things cost 5 dollars
PS: I know this isn’t normal for a controller like the Vader 5 Pro to have a problem that should have been thinking at the conception but my goal was …
Disclosure :
This was the most impulse buy that I ever impulse buy’ed (no this isn’t a word).
My use is primarily on Platformers, Hack n Slash, Soulslikes and Racing games, no FPS titles for me. (i own a mouse for that)
Banana for scale will be the older Pro 2, with some mentions of the Spark N5.
Also i suck at reviews.

Hey folks. I made this website with the support of claude code as a single source for backpacks and other bags.
This is not a store. You cannot buy bags via this page. It is simply a very nice looking bag bookmark website with images of the bags in a way that makes it easy to browse and evaluate.
I’ve wanted a website like this, I couldn’t find one, so I made it. I know others might be like it, but this one is mine. I don’t care. I think it’s better. It has things I think should be in it, like filtering, and bags.
It doesn’t have every brand yet, and it doesn’t have every feature yet. I want to add a table or list view for all bags; I am bug hunting on it every so often. I just added the few “send feedback” and “request brand” things that work well.
I have a public GitHub project to track issues with it - features being added, bugs I bother to add, bugs anyone else finds and makes note of, etc.
There might be mistakes. If …
B&R Transcend Clamshell bag from 2018. I own a few pieces of B&R luggage and generally have been pretty happy with them. This one has not been used a great deal (bag is in excellent condition) but the shoulder strap pad material (leather? pleather?) has started to flake off. It leaves flakes all over me and the bag. I contacted B&R customer service and they insist it is “cosmetic” and that there’s nothing they can do. I mean, this seems rather disingenuous – it’s not cosmetic if it’s flaking off everywhere, right? So much for the B&R “Simple as That” guarantee…
Great looking bag, excited to try it out today around town.
This one was a bit tricky because my travel includes running a marathon and a LAN party, so I had to pack accordingly. Still amazed how versatile this bag is, and how much I actually got into the personal item spacer for wizz air.
No redundancy on long pants and sweater, but I should get by with just one laundry day.
Note - the bottle didn’t make the cut, left it at home because I didn’t wanna risk having to throw it out
I onebag almost exclusively now and I find the hardest part to sell to most people is limiting their clothing.
Now… I do have travel clothes and I keep everything relatively simple BUT I do find a lot of people go very far with this concept in a way Im not willing to (merino everything / all black and grey / just T shirts and walking shoes). I also hate looking like Im a hiker walking around a city so I like lower profile bags and shoes.
I still bring button up shirts, different colours and styles, and shoes I can wear to nice places.
So, Im wondering how much people will sacrifice the pure streamlined onebag (less items and lightweight) for aesthetics. Do you think worrying about fashion is something beyond the onebag philosophy?
My goal is to simplify and get closer to 1 bag. Any thoughts on how I can optimize?
p.s. I love the F40 + Daypack turtle combo, nothing beats this for walking and easy of use. but Daypack is technically too large for personal item - I fear the day where this will cause problems. I hope Osprey shrinks the daypack one day..
UPDATE:
Thanks SO much everybody for the great input! I decided to onebag the F40 to start with :) Made a packing list, wdyt? https://lighterpack.com/r/7ezxfs
Just FYI, today my Victorinox Jetsetter, that I traveled all over the world for 5 years, was confiscated in Tokyo, Japan Airport. They did not care that it doesn’t have a knife. They just said it looks like a multitool so needs to be confiscated.

Just doing some research and wanted to see what the Onebag community loves to wear when they can only take one or two different pairs of pants with them on a traveling trip!
I’m looking for those pants that you can throw on to walk around town, grab a bite to eat, or go backpacking in Asia, all while still being comfortable and not looking too out of place!
And if you don’t have a “do it all” pant you love, what are some qualities or features you guys would like to see in a pant?
Thanks everyone, and safe travels!!
Presenting to you… my pickleball roll out. Didn’t see a need for a tote bag, in fact I hate the typical tote bags. Until I started playing pickleball, and didn’t like wearing my EG backpacks with a sweaty back, and carrying my shoes separately (I have US 12 feet!!!).
The tote bag is amazing at keeping everything in one bag, my shoes, my paddle, my clothes, my pickle balls, my water bottle, etc. I’ll carry it in and out of the car like a small duffle bag of sorts.
Bag was always attractive to me but could never justify the $300 price tag. At almost 50% off though I pulled the trigger last week.
I’m impressed with the construction and appreciate the overall simplicity of the bag. It’s a great medium size and super comfortable fit (I’m 6’ and slender build). I also really like the option to overpack and hook the top shut with the clip, instead of always using the magnets. It seems solidly waterproof and got to do a brief test in the well-timed rain today.
Anyone else use the sale to pick one up?
Just picked up my first EVERGOODS backpack and I’m way more excited than I expected to be.
After going back and forth for ages between the CTB, CPL, and MPL lines, I finally pulled the trigger on the Civic Half Zip 26L V3 as my new EDC. No regrets so far.
The first thing that surprised me was the shell fabric. The custom 840d ballistic nylon feels smooth but really robust in hand, and the clean, minimal look of the bag is exactly what I was hoping for in an everyday backpack. It has that “use me hard” vibe without screaming for attention.
What really sold me after the first few days is the carry. With the same load as my old backpack, the CHZ26 somehow feels noticeably lighter and more comfortable on my back. The harness, back panel, and overall structure distribute the weight so much better that it almost tricks the brain into thinking there’s less in the bag.
I also made a small mod right away: swapped the original black zipper pullers for Signal Blue ones to add a bit of contrast …
I just ordered some bags yesterday and ordered a few patches for my partners new bags and then today they added a new set of colors! https://evergoods.us/collections/patches/products/hi-vis-patch-bundle
