I ordered the pre-order directly from China! Overall, my review is top-notch; almost everything impresses me. The only issues are the weak quality of the adjustment ring and the M4/M3 back pads. Unfortunately, the M4 click broke after just a few hours of use. I had seen this quality control issue mentioned in the controller community, specifically concerning Apex 5, Hope they fix this issue. Note: I refund and Re-ordered. Fingers crossed! lol
Definitely a feature I would love and don’t say you would hit by accident because that would never happen with proper placement of the switch.
While trying to troubleshoot an issue with my Vader 4 Pro, I was prompted with these terms of service when I updated Flydigi Space Station to v4.1.2.17 (latest at time of writing).
As a privacy conscious person, these terms seem unacceptable and a little alarming, especially considering that I was, at some point, considering upgrading to a Vader 5 Pro.
Anyone with a V5P manage to use the controller just fine without the software or are these basically mandatory to even use the controller?
I was using a third-party PS4 controller and it’s starting to bug out. We had a good run
My budget is $25 max or ₱1,500 (Philippine peso). I usually buy from shopee or lazada since that’s the online shopping platform we use here in the Philippines.
It’s only gonna be used for mobile gaming mostly— specifically the iPad A16. Games are mostly open wolrd gacha games like genshin and wuwa
I really like hiw the SN30 pro controller looks and it seems travel friendly due to the size. However, I’m concerned about the comfort factor.
To anyone who’s used the 8bitdo SN30 pro controller, how does it feel in the hands? Does it feel clunky or not
Personally: 1. G7 Pro 2. Ulitmate Legend 3. Gamesir Cyclone 2 4. 8bitdo Pro 3 5. 8bitdo Ultimate 2
I’m really excited for Gullikit TT Pro
Got a flydigi apex 5 3 weeks ago and the dpad is squeaking like crazy, any ideas to fix it ?
For me this is Tom Bihn. No matter how hard I try, I cannot get into their style. I am a dad, that talks about bags, and these are too much of a dad bag for me. I look at it more of as a grandad bag style.
Another one for me is Trakke. It’s just not my jam. They all look the same to me.
This is all pure opinions. No right or wrongs here. Just curious of what you guys think.
My gear came in yesterday (pre-ordered on 10⁄31), but I haven’t been able to full unpack them yet.
In the meantime, I can confirm the 20L fits one Himalayan Balinese cat when curled. Can already tell it’s going to be a popular bag!
Recently the wife and I made a trip to Japan where our plan was half sight-seeing and half shopping. We come from a country where high shipping costs and high customs duty prohibit us from ordering these bags online.
I was lurking in this sub for a very long time and pretty much spending time every now and then watching bag reviews on youtube for more than a decade. Before all this, I owned a decade old North Recon bag which has been an absolute work horse, an Incase weekender bag and a Peak Design everyday bag - 30L (this was a second hand purchase from a photographer, would have probably regretted it if I purchased it at full price).
Going into Japan our aim was simple. Take in as less as possible and bring back as much as our budget allows. We just went in with two days worth of clothes in our Northface and Incase bags. I am going to just talk about the bags that we bought in Tokyo and Osaka. Going in I had a rough idea that Japan was a bag shoppers paradise, thanks to this sub I …
Over the last 12 months I’ve been looking for my best personal item. I bought and sold a couple, all for different reasons. Eventually I settled on this one, the Fjalraven Raven 20l. It’s 1/5th of the price of some of the other bags I tried, but it honestly does exactly what I want. It fits EU restrictive size limits (unless you absolute stuff it), it is very light, and with the help of a 6€ bar of Greenland wax I waxed it myself. Tried up my new setup yesterday and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The one thing it doesn’t have is a luggage pass through, but it has two perfectly placed loops on the side that allow for creative solutions.
(For those that want to know these are some of the other backpacks I tried: GR Bullet 18l DC Heritage, EG waxed CPL16, AER Slim Pack Pro and CPP2)
Earlier this year, I picked up a front rack Porteur bag for my bicycle from Inside Line Equipment and immediately fell in love with the design and simplicity of this brand. After receiving an email last week about their Black Friday sale, I decided to finally order a new backpack to replace my aging (and very heavy) 30L Chrome Industries Volcan bag. My new ILE Default Mini just arrived and I thought I would post a few photos. This brand doesn’t seem to get the attention it deserves on social media. Their stuff is handmade in Berkeley, CA out of very high end materials and every piece is simple but cleverly designed. I ordered my Default Mini in V21 XPAC and the bag is much lighter than I expected (half the weight of my Chrome bag). After using their Porteur rack bag on a few bicycle trips, I am now a huge fan of roll tops with simple but open storage areas. You can roll them down tight when you need a smaller bag to carry around town but you also have the option to expand …
I have a Bellroy Tokyo work bag and I carry my MBP and IPad with it. It came with this slim strap which made the bag feel super heavy and caused shoulder pain so I got the absolute strap after looking on here.
Needless to say, I was actually shocked when I tried on the strap. The bag felt a quarter as heavy and I didn’t have any more shoulder pain.
The pad itself is sewn onto the strap instead of one that slides around so I don’t have to adjust the pad every time it’s out of place and the back of the pad is also nonslip.
I have been traveling a lot with my one bag since retiring a few years ago.
I feel like the worst part of coming home exhausted in the middle of the night is getting into a weird argument with customs in my own country (Canada).
Is it really such an unusual thing to not buy anything when you go to a different country? With airlines offering lower fares with extreme baggage limits, why is it so suspicious to only have one bag?
Does anybody have any lines they use to help them breeze through?
First time one bagging, went with the osprey 26+6 & I couldn’t be happier. This was for a 3 day trip to Las Vegas, I purposely over packed to test to see where I can improve & how long I could go with it. It did everything I needed perfectly & I’m fully confident I can take this on much much longer trips. It fit under the seat on United Airlines (737) & Air Canada (737), it was really comfortable to carry didn’t have any issues walking around airports with it at all. I’m gonna look into removing the stitching in that top pocket to fit my passport (still fits in there now but not in its own pocket), and adding some paracord or a helmet net to the 4 loops at the front for some quick storage. All I can say is that I’m super happy with it, & that if you’re thinking about getting one you have nothing to worry about it’s an excellent bag!
Please share any tips you have :)
Below is my packing list:
4x Underwear 5x Socks 1x Gym shorts 4x T shirts 2x Jeans 1x Khaki shorts …
Ok I’m trying this again since the photos didn’t show up. Sorry for the double post! I deleted the original one bc it didn’t seem like I could edit the photos. Anyway here we go again:
I’m proud that I fit what I need for 4 nights and 4 days into a 16L Kanken. I’m traveling on a budget flight, and wanted to see if I could pack as small as I could to avoid carrying around too much wait. I think there’s more I could still cut down if I needed, if anyone has any suggestions. Here’s what I have:
Inside the main compartment: * Kobo e-reader * Tech pouch “backpack” (see below for details) * Toiletry bag (see below for details) * Packing cube (see below for details) * Eyeglasses case * Notobag foldable bag * Daily planner * Kinto 17oz water bottle * Not pictured because I forgot to fish it out from the back sleeve: my very slim Herschel wallet
Inside the front pocket: * Stimagz fidget toy * Pen * Tinted chapstick * Chapstick * Small bottle of hand sanitizer * Airpods * Housekeys including …
Hi all,
What are items that you always bring because they are super useful and you would recommend others to get too?
Minus of course some obvious like converter plug for chargers, power bank etc (unless it’s some specific powerbank like one with cables attached already, something unique)
Thanks!
Hi everyone!
I quit my job and I’m backpacking through Asia and Oceania for a full year starting January 2026. First stop is New Zealand, then Australia, Southeast Asia, Nepal, Mongolia, Japan, and several other places (around 15–20 countries total). Mix of trekking, surfing, scuba diving, and cultural travel. Mostly solo, carrying everything on my back.
I was really inspired by this subreddit when planning this trip and putting this pack together, and I’ve looked forward to submitting my one bag
I tried to keep things on the leaner side and cover the basics/acquire less accessible items, and then procure as I go. Looking for any input, feedback, or advice (esp if you’ve done trips like this)
Thanks for reading and (hopefully) replying!

As we wind down 2025, what were your top Onebag purchases of the year? Here are mine.
70W Travel Adapter with multiple USB-C ports. This single device replaced my 260W GaN Fast Charging Station and my old travel adapter. I typically travel with a 20-30L backpack or a 42L backpack and appreciate the extra saved space.
Anker 20k mAh, 200W Power Bank. Lightweight enough to keep it on me and powerful enough to charge/power my phone, laptop, tablet, rog ally or external monitor simultaneously. I normally just pack the Rog Ally when I’m flying since it doubles as a windows laptop.
Alpaka Elements Tech Case Max. I’ve always wanted a larger sling bag to keep my electronics close while flying. I’m sure there are better sling bags out there, but I’m pretty happy with this one.
8itdo Lite 2 Bluetooth Controller. Small enough to pack in my sling and I can use it to play emulators on my phone/table if I’m bored. It can also be used on my Rog Ally to play Windows …
I happen to be searching for a card wallet recently and this pops up in my email inbox. Love the magnetic closure but still too expensive for me🥲
Made a small leather luggage tag with a Velcro backing to fit over the patch. Made some matching leather zipper pulls too!
Hey all. Pretty much the title. I made this oak EG patch to go on my X-Pac CTB 20 as a fun little one off project. In my head I thought I was going to love it, but once I put it on it feels off to me. Looks clunky to me, but I wanted your guys’ opinions. Thanks!
So my card wallet just came in and I already have a few thoughts.
in another thread somewhere, somebody said that if they added a slash on the front external side, it would do both the service of being the logo and also give you a quick access slot and I agree. There is a small logo inside which is nice but I do miss the subtle Evergoods branding on the exterior.
It’s def a minimalist’s minimalist card wallet. It’s smaller than the Bellroy version and it fits much tighter. I have two larger cards though (the Apple Card is a chonker and an Apple tracker card from nomad which is also a bit thicker than standard) but those still fit comfortably in the Bellroy but here it’s a much tighter fit.
The magnets are solid and the placement of them on a little rail at the edges makes for a nice look while also a solid snap shut and good resistance from easily opening.
It feels lighter and sleeker than the Bellroy. And I personally am a fan of the textile they use for the element line. I am a …
I’ve been running the CLP16 as my EDC on my bike commute and wanted to share some thoughts on comfort, especially for anyone in a warmer climate.
The bag feels great on my back. Super stable, very connected, and honestly one of the more comfortable packs I’ve used while riding. I don’t feel any of the back digging issues that I’ve heard about. The only downside is breathability. I live in Queensland and on summer rides (around 32C or 90F) it definitely turns into a bit of a sauna back there. My back gets pretty sweaty, although the comfort of the harness surprisingly still holds up.
One thing I noticed is the waxed canvas. When it’s really hot I can actually smell the wax a bit. No signs of transfer on my clothes though, which is impressive. The pack itself never feels wet, so the wax must be doing its job, but the back panel definitely traps some heat.
Overall, I still love the bag and will keep using it for my commute. Just curious if anyone else has had similar experiences with …
Hi everyone, I recently bought an Evergoods CTB20 after a lot of research, and honestly — the pocket layout, organization, and overall design are absolutely perfect for me. Even the 20L size is spot on.
But… the fit is horrible. I’m 186 cm with a long back, and the CTB20 sits all wrong. It digs into my back, the harness feels extremely uncomfortable, and the shoulder straps cut into me. I’ve tried everything — backplate mods, towel padding, different loadouts — but I’ve finally had to admit that the harness just isn’t working for my body. It’s genuinely unacceptable for longer wear.
I tested the Aer CPP2 and it was unbelievably comfortable in comparison. However, I really want to stick with Evergoods because the quality and layout are unmatched for my needs.
So I’m wondering: 1. Are the CTB26 or CPL24 larger in terms of harness system and overall back length compared to the CTB20? 2. Has anyone else had the same issue with the CTB20? What did you switch to?
I’m honestly desperate …
