Hello everyone, A bit of background: I mainly play games on my PC and don’t own an Xbox or any console. I don’t know much about third-party controllers—most of what I’ve learned comes from watching reviews and reading posts. The only controller I’ve used before is a DualShock 4. I’ve heard and read positive reviews about the controllers I mentioned above but I am still having a hard time choosing one. I live in the Philippines and my budget is 1500 - 2500 Php which is around 25 - 40 USD.
I’m looking for recommendations on a controller that will give me a great experience for casual and maybe semi-competitive gaming on PC. I’m not very familiar with button feel, so that’s not a big priority for me. Mappable buttons would be a nice bonus but aren’t required. Trigger stops are something I’d like as well. I also don’t mind paying a little extra.
I mainly play games like Witcher 3, Okami HD, Borderlands, Bioshock and Apex Legends.
Any suggestions on which controller I should …

Posting this just in case other people have this issue on their Vader 5 Pro controllers. Especially since a lot of people are getting this controller for the holidays I’m assuming others will inevitably have the same issue. I also posted this to the Flydigi discord as well to raise awareness and hopefully get this issue fixed / looked into ASAP.
Problem: After normal use, the Vader 5 Pro randomly decides to stop connecting to PC normally. While sitting on the dock, the controller LED turns off and the unit appears “dead.” Windows may spam USB connect/disconnect sounds, the dock animation still plays, but the controller shows no LED.
Removing the controller from the dock doesn’t help. Changing the controller from NS to Bluetooth to Dongle Connection then pressing the logo button doesn’t fix it. Or even holding the firmware reset combo (Select + Start + FN, assuming same as Apex 5) does nothing to fix this. Plugging in via USB triggers the Windows USB sound, but the LED is …
After three years of using the gamepad, my left joystick started to drift, so I decided to replace both joysticks with hall-effect ones. I used Ginfull PS4 TMR modules for this. Despite the low price, Ginfull modules feels very smooth and after calibration in Ultimate software circularity is perfect and center deviation is less than 2%.
If you are also going to replace joysticks in this gamepad, you need to swap the sensors on one of the modules (making it xbox-type) and cut about 5mm of plastic from the top of both joysticks or front cover will rub against the thumbsticks. I added photos showing which joystick are PS4-type and which are Xbox-type.
Hey everyone, I’m making this post to share my experience, because I see a lot of people asking questions about TMR / anti-drift sticks, but very few real feedback posts.
First of all, I’m completely new to playing on controller. I’ve been playing Call of Duty on keyboard and mouse since at least 2014⁄2015, but let’s be honest: controller is just stronger, and at least it gives me something new to grind.
I’ve seen a lot of people and streamers talking about “anti-drift” or TMR joysticks, and I think that name is a bit misleading. These sticks can still have a very slight drift if your deadzone is set to 0 (usually oscillating between 0 and 1, maybe 2 max). What they really do well is resist wear: you’re basically not getting a 5% drift after two months of heavy use.
I came from a DualSense Edge with stock sticks, then switched to Gulikit TMR sticks. Honestly, they felt very slippery. It almost felt like I had put oil inside my controller. Less tension is nice, but for me this …
New Christmas presents, ser cpp2 in olive and able carry max edc in ripstop tan. Both bought on black Friday deals but been saved for Xmas. Already have the cpp2 in black so familiar with the bag but the able carry max edc….wow what a bag
Definitely a r/manybagger store, Suburban in Hong Kong. I visited the Causeway Bay store. It was great to see many of the bags talked about on here in person and actually get a feel for them. The amount of Bellroy was impressive with a packed out wall + corner, then two table/desk displays (forgot to take photos of these). Personally, it was good to look closely at a couple of Aer bags and Evergoods line. Unfortunately I didn’t buy anything…
It was quite hard to find so if you’ve found this and want to visit, Google maps is accurate for general location then you need to find the door “18-20 Pak Sha Road”. It’s on the third floor.
There is a Kowloon store which is apparently larger as well. Two posts from 2 years ago as well seem to show they’ve got more stock in.

The Evergoods Civic Panel Loader 16L replaced my Aer City Pack 2, which are both 16 Liters, but the Evergoods actually fits more than the Aer CP2 could, which amazes me so much!
I just got it 2 weeks ago from mukama (ships to Germany without tariffs) and so far no notorious „back digging“ and no shoulder strap discomfort, which was a huge fear for me because reading many online complaints.
However, I have to test it for longer to see how comfortable it is long-term and if worn for longer hours. I have an aching back with scoliosis, so I am even more sensitive than the normal user.
Got a black reflective paracord on Amazon for $7 and learned to tie a clean knot to replace the zipper pulls on my all black Rework Toshi backpack. This allows me to keep its black/stealthy look while making it easier for cars to see me in the dark. These things light up really bright when hit by light in a dark environment (hard to see on camera).

Hello all,
In 2 short weeks I will be setting off on a 6 month trip across 4 continents. Onebagging has certainly changed the way I approach travel and opened my mind to new possibilities. This is my 9th symphony of packing. The Cotopaxi Allpa 28 was the first bag in my journey, however, due to cost considerations (not wanting to risk getting a fine at the gate) and aggressive minimalism, I have elected to give the Cotopaxi Allpa Mini 20L pack a try.
My previous 2 trips with this bag (both ~5 days long) proved that this bag is everything I wanted.
I loved my Allpa 28, everyone has their own travel style, but personally I love to arrive at a hostel and open my clamshell bag flat in a locker or on the floor and have everything handy. Through far too much reddit …
Recently got back from a few weeks in Colombia and wanted to share how my onebag setup worked out.
I used the Boundary Supply Errant Duffel in X Pac (about 35L) in backpack mode, and while it wasn’t perfect, it held up well in some rough conditions. The weather and logistics changed constantly on this trip, from below freezing departures and cold nights in Bogotá to humid days in the Amazon basin, which made it a good test for adaptability.
Photo 1 shows the fully packed bag on a boat on the Amazon. The X Pac fabric made this setup practical, easy to clean, and fine to set down on wet or dirty surfaces.
Photo 2 shows everything laid out, and photo 3 is how I compartmentalized the contents.
For clothing (photo 4):
My clothes mainly come from Uniqlo, Decathlon, Seagale and Lululemon. Since I wasn’t sure …

Picked up the Cap 0.5 during the recent 12⁄25 sale. Figured I’d find some use for it.
Attempted use cases: Tried it as a pure tech bag but it’s not wide enough for my external charger. Tried it as a dopp kit but it’s too small for regular use. And It was overkill as a backup medicine bag.
Actual use case: I landed on using it as an “essentials” travel kit that doubles as a bedside caddy once you reach your destination. Previously all this stuff would live in my backpack, sling, or just sit around on the bedside stand, but now it all lives neatly in the Cap 0.5 for when I need something at night while in a new space.
Ideal form factor changes: I think 0.5 L is a great size for most things, but what holds the Cap 0.5 back is the form factor. If it were the shape of a passport or something more standard, this would work in more situations.
So, what do you all think we’re going to see from Evergoods in 2026?
Anyone with orders messed up recently? I ordered CPL waxed canvas and received regular CPL instead (it was also missing some items but they confirmed it and sent replacement). Then replacement was an X-Pac instead which I’ve never ordered.
I know it’s the the busiest time of the season but this is kind of ridiculous… aren’t these scanned as they go? I’m not actually in a hurry to receive this but I don’t want to be accused of scamming the company… I would think a little extra care goes in fulfilling the replacement order. I can’t imagine all the types of CPLs are dumped into the bucket together and they draw from it without scanning or whatever, increasing risk of human error.
EDIT: Yes, I can immediately feel the labeled X-Pac is a new X-Pac. Not opening any of them in case I need to provide extensive documentation for proof.
Curious if Evergoods will ever add other colors to the waxed canvas lineup. I know they did the Carryology collabs but I’d love to be able to buy a CTB in black waxed canvas or olive.
I’m not a huge fan of the tan, and I get that it’s an investment and there’s always worries that they won’t move as well but I feel like they’d be super popular.
