I bought this unit with my own money. No relations with gulikit themselves. Don’t ask me where to buy cause it’s currently not available.
So a few weeks ago Gulikit “accidentally” sold the TT Max and then closed the order page. Me being a controller collector bought it anyway and it arrived yesterday. What could go wrong, right?
First I’ll say what’s in the box: the controller, a few different height joysticks, the typical button swap and paddles box that Gulikit also sells separately, a flat and cheap feeling cable, a HyperLink 2 adapter and a form fit plastic case. Inside said plastic case is a different shape dpad. The round flat one that’s on it by default is ugly so I popped on the Saturn looking one. That’s where my first issues arose which I’ll come back to later.
This feels… almost exactly like a kk3 max so far. Sure the …
It has been used for 4 months before I knew I could stick that little thing onto the paddle though. The right paddle that broke was very mushy compared to the left to begin with, a QC issue not uncommon among the first batch after release based on the complains I saw.
Hello and happy holidays for those who are celebrating! Here’s a round-up of controller news and subreddit updates from the past month. Many controller companies’ focus was on delivering for existing orders, but a handful of new announcements or teasers started to come out ahead of CES (a large consumer electronics trade show) in January.

Put in TMR sticks, along with the clear shell and color changing LEDs.

The Able Carry Daily has an opinion on everything—from its unique shape to organization to comfort. If you disagree with it, it’s a hard pass. But if you do agree, you have found the EDC backpack you have been looking for.

I picked this up as a personal item a few months ago.
Traveling with Aer TP3s as my backpack and this as my personal item.
So far, so good.
Holds 2 water bottles, my headphones, iPad, Kindle, an Awr slim pouch with elctronics, glasses and more.
I like that it’s a bit unstructured, so I can shove it i to the corner under the seat in front if me and leave olety of room for my feet (its an 11-hour flight).
Will it last for years? I doubt it. The zippers are cheap, and the nylon is thin. But for $20, if I get a year’s use it’s a good deal.
1st Annual Bagdaddio Awards
I want to start out by saying this has been a fun and exciting year for me. Reviewing backpacks and other gear is enjoyable for me. I look forward to 2026 as I look to expand to my you tube channel. I also really enjoy all the different views and opinions. The carry nerd world is the best. I have met some awesome people and I can’t wait to keep this thing going. These awards are clearly my opinions. Many people will disagree, but that’s what makes this so much fun! I also can’t review every single bag out there, so my list is based on my own personal use. Enjoy, and I’d love to hear some feedback and your thoughts! Happy New Year!
Dad Bag of the Year - Evergoods MPL22 Kludde
What a collab! The Kludde is my go to. It is my dad bag, my grab and go bag. I carry it with me EVERY DAY. I have my edc pack for work, but my Kludde is in my truck for my everything else bag. I have the MPL22 in Kludde Gravel Gray and in Artic. I also got an original one in …
Bought the able carry max EDC in the black Friday sale and been using in-between Christmas and new year. The front pocket holds so much which is great while it’s cold as have extra layer jacket, gloves and a hat , plenty of other pockets and really smooth zippers. My favourite bag for a while has been the aer cpp2 but the big front pocket on this gives this bag the edge for me
I am noticing an extremely disturbing new trend on this sub. It is also very prevalent on the HerOneBag sub. I don’t understand it and I think it needs to stop. That trend is downvoting people who travel lightly! A good example is here. OP posted their packing list, noted that they would do laundry on travel, and even mentioned specifics on how they were going to travel lightly. Almost all of these specifics were tried and true methods that have been recommended on this sub for years:
OP was downvoted for mentioning every one of these methods.
OP was also accused of karma farming for internet points.
What is the motivation behind this? Why is someone traveling lighter than you so offensive that you would downvote them? Do you travel so heavy that you can’t imagine traveling so lightly?
I personally love these …
I am heading out on a cruise soon to the Mexican Rivera and fit all my essentials into a 3L fanny pack. I have done quite a few similar trips in the past and love the freedom it provides. Given that I am accustom to bringing the bare minimum, there is nothing missing from this list as far as nice to have items. Any more clothes would mean bigger loads of laundry which ends up being more cumbersome to me than just washing a couple of items daily. Happy to answer any questions or cover more of the specifics.

Everyone on Reddit seems to treat Merino wool like a magic fabric, so I finally bought some gear to try it out. Honestly? I don’t get the hype. My experience has been terrible: The Itch: Even the “ultrafine” stuff feels scratchy and rough against my skin. It’s like wearing a scouring pad.
The “Breathability” Myth: I live/exercise in a humid area, and instead of wicking sweat, the shirt just gets heavy, soggy, and stays wet. It feels like it traps the heat and the moisture, making me feel suffocatingly hot.
I feel like I’m taking crazy pills with how much praise this fabric gets. Does anyone else have this reaction? And for those who hate Merino, what are you wearing instead that doesn’t stink like polyester but feels smooth?
(For context: I’m looking for something for gym/activewear that doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a wet sheep.)
Does this duffle bag have a good technique on how to pack it? Not sure if i do it the most efficiant way ;D
Just noticed this morning that the stitching on material between internal and external admin panel pockets has failed. Tried to initiate a warranty claim on EG website and get page telling me “ineligible for warranty”. Have had to email customer care to try and get this sorted. I would very much argue that a defect like this is definitely eligible for a warranty return, especially on a $400 bag.
Hey, all! Was lucky enough to receive a couple of EG pouches for the holidays. I have one CAP 2 that I use for work, but I’ve now got an extra CAP 1 and CAP 2 to use, and nothing that immediately jumps to mind for what to put in em! Would love to see how folks are using these two pouches, particularly for non-tech applications (e.g., camera cubes, tool pouches, etc.).
Thanks in advance! :)
Ended up going with the Evergoods. Getting comfortable with it weighted. My ballistic plate fits nicely in the main back pocket (I teach so it comes with me every day). It’s definitely a pack that needs to ride high to fit the back which is fine since that’s how you are suppose to with any backpack, hiking, MT biking, climbing. If you have a waist strap it would make sense to loosen straps to distribute the weight to the hips. This pack just requires you to loosen the straps to make it easy to take off if wearing a lot of layers. Can also wear it low with the bottom hitting just above your butt. Its the middle of the back I can see where I can see people not liking it digging in. It looks like you just have to cinch it up and wear it where it was designed to ride.
I’m very satisfied with the quality and it’s deceivingly big once you start shoving things in. It was nice to see it had the attachment loops inside since one of their online photos showed it without. …
After about 3 years of use, the fabric on my PLC20 ripped apart. Since it’s a discontinued product and I’ve already lost the purchasing receipt, is it included in the warranty? Are there any ways that I can fix this?
