Bought it on Ali Express for 55usd, it can be found now for around 45.
It has capacitive sticks, but one came square and the other circular. I couldnt find Gripure webpage to download a software to configure the controller.
Capacitive sticks are super responsive and precise, but each stick coming with different circularity is weird.
R2L2 are pretty good, face buttons and R1L1 are ok but nothing special.
The dpad is bad, feels stiff and mushy at the same time. Biggest issue imo.
And the controller is rather small, if you have big hands avoid it like a plague.
If you have small hands or want to gift someone like that, then it is an ok-ish purchase. But there is the Mobapad Chitu 2 that can be found sub 30 and has a great reputation.
TL;DR: For gamers who are looking for a cost-effective wireless controller with quiet buttons, the EasySMX X05 Pro is an excellent option
Hey everyone. I recently bought the EasySMX X05 Pro from PixelPlay’s Shopee store. Its SRP is listed at around $35, but PixelPlay is selling it for only ₱1,155 (lower price due to regional pricing most likely). After applying discount vouchers, I was able to get it for around ₱950.
Long story short, the X05 Pro has become my new favorite controller. As someone who is quite particular about how loud a controller is, the X05 Pro’s quiet buttons are something I really appreciate. It uses a D-pad that is similar in design to the one found in the Series X/S controller, but only A LOT quieter. What I love about its D-pad is that its tactile enough without being obnoxiously loud. As for its face and shoulder buttons, they are a bit quieter than the ones found in the GameSir Super Nova, which, I might add, were already quiet enough. The X05 Pro …
Just got from Ali for around 30usd using coins and coupons, the msrp is around 50. And holy sheet, the hype is real.
The frictionless analog rings feels amazing, it is really hard to explain until you try it. The disc dpad is very fast and smooth, also comes with a traditional cross dpad.
The ergos feel pretty good, I was afraid they would be too small, but nope. They arent large either, seems to be close to an universal sweet spot as they could get.
The controversial aspect is the R2L2 being straight digital buttons, no analogic gradual press. I prefer them that way, but I know some people prefer analogic buttons for racing games and such.
The fact that this controller feels this good being so affordable that blow my mind. It feels much better than many 80+ dollars controllers.
Being this good and affordable makes it a great gift.
I don’t know if you’re aware, but apparently Flydigi released a new batch of the Vader 5 Pro.
The tension ring system now looks like the Vader 5S, and I must admit it’s better than the smooth “buggy” linear rotation of the old version. No more tension change during gameplay session !
The new batch dates from March 2026, and the old one from December 2025. You can tell by the packaging; they included a sticker to help locate the paddles 🤣
For your information, I bought the international version on AliExpress, but I didn’t notice any difference in the paddle system (I stick with my cabinet door bumpers).
I initially bought this controller as a backup, but in the end, I prefer this model just for the tension ring 👍
Picked up two Bellroy backpacks at a local thrift shop. Got the Transit Backpack 28L for $13, and the Via Workpack for $8. I have been wanting to buy a nice travel bag for so long, but due to budgeting, I never could justify it.
Did some culling of the herd and donated a lot of my unused, this is what I am left with currently. If anyone sees something they need DM me I obviously only use some of it.
I’ve been lurking this subreddit a few weeks and now my first post.
First time visiting Japan and this was one item I was looking to get. I was originally going to get the smaller version but it seemed a bit small in person for my needs so I got the larger one. This is the 3 way convertible briefcase.
Greetings, it’s Alfred from Nomads Nation again! Hot off the heels of the recent Travel Pack 4 (aka City Pack Pro 2 Max), we have the new Aer City Pack Pro 2 20L (more like a City Pack Pro 2S?).
I used this backpack for everyday carry for around 2 weeks in Hong Kong, here to share some of my thoughts with you.
(Should be noted; Aer did send us the bag to test out, but my opinions are my own)
Side quick access pocket 👍
This replaces one water bottle pocket (the other one remains with the design on the CPP2 24L, not the TP4) on the left side when you are wearing the bag. I find this an excellent addition for urban life, it is a perfect spot for access cards and keys, which easily fits my pouch for these items (Alpaka zip pouch).
What sets it apart from other quick access pockets, in my opinion, is the location which enables it to be accessed without ever taking off the bag. Most other quick access pockets still require taking off one shoulder strap and swinging …
Looking forward to using this thing for work, before this I tested the Pro Pack & the Able Carry Daily Plus. But I’m hoping this can be almost perfect for commuting into the city via train.
Week one of 3 months sabbatical with 3 kids (10/7/5) with carryon only*. Took them from NZ to Paris via Singapore by myself (husband joined us in Paris). Honestly, was very doable as everyone is now directable and continent, so for those with younger kids, have faith, it gets vastly better. Kathmandu Litehaul 38L bags x 3, youngest too little so just a school backpack for him.
Decathlon (Quechua NH100 Arpenaz 10 L Hiking Backpack) daypack for daily exploring.
Highly recommend Bounce app (free) for worldwide luggage storage locations. We dropped off our carryon bags in central Singapore and explored hawker stalls, satay St, waterfront and Supergrove trees carefree.
Now in Paris and again using Bounce to store luggage for Easter London trip.
*husband brought 1 suitcase for ski clothing as hoping to ski in France
I’m leaving for Bolivia later this month for around 17 days.
The main challenge of this trip is the sheer variety of climates I’ll be in: Andean mountains, tropical forest, salt desert and sand dunes. Daytime temperatures are expected to be between 2°C and 34°C (35°F to 93°F), but temperature feel can range between just below freezing up to 41°C (106°F). I’ve planned lots of hiking and time in nature, but no alpine (andean?) climbing.

A big thank you to the collective knowledge of this sub that had me grabbing an Osprey Daylite 26+6 as my bag. Just returned from 5 nights in Vegas and almost everything went smoothly. Air Canada gate agent at Vegas was crusty AF about the personal item sizer but passed the test. The big takeaway is restraint in buying stuff on the trip and an efficient way to pack that Down Sweater without opening the expansion panel because then it doesn’t fit in the sizer. Flew Porter ERJ-195 down and Air Canada A320 up and it fit under the seat like a charm.
I have the Heimplanet Transit v1. I love it. It looks clean, fits comfortably, and has kept up marvelously for 6+ years. It’s lightweight, has roomy stretchy water bottle pockets, and a nice sized dump pocket for whatever I’m carrying going through a security line.
That one thing that drives me nuts though, is the laptop flap. The whole back of the bag unzips so the laptop can lay flat, and there’s a compartment between the laptop and the main compartment for electronics and stuff. It’s only about 1 inch deep, and for me it’s wasted space because I use my own pouches to organize electronics and toiletries and other loose items.
What’s your favorite bag, and what’s “that one thing” that drives you crazy about it?
Bag: Evergoods CHZ22
I packed all of my clothing in a purple laundry bag containing:
2 Short sleeve button up shirts
4 Uniqlo Airism T shirts
7 pairs Uniqlo airism underwear
1 pair athletic shorts
1 pair of socks for the return trip
Patagonia rain jacket because sometimes it gets cold on the plane.
Electronics
Sony Camera that will be carried in a small Domke bag most of the time. The Domke bag can fit on top of everything else inside the backpack so it can all go under the seat together.
Headphones
E-reader
Toiletries containing the usual suspects plus laundry spray. I cannot recommend laundry spray enough. It helps keep the funky smells to a minimum, essential in South East Asia. It’s also helpful for smoothing out some wrinkles.
On the plane I will be wearing Patagonia shorts and a T shirt from muji.
Not pictured are my Columbia shoes that are designed to be worn without socks (thus only one pair of socks for the return trip). I’ve worn them around Thailand without …
Sorry if this was discussed, but I just picked up an Osprey 26+6 today, and instead of three pen slots and two card size pockets in the admin panel that most of the reviews I read mentioned, this had two pen slots and the right slip pocket can now hold a passport. Osprey must have seen all the seam ripper hacks!
OK, so the fabric looks cool, feels cool and even has a bit of a chameleon color change effect in different light (think hazel eyes). It does feel like the fabric will be nice and abrasion resistant and hold up to some abuse.
That is where the positives end… This thing is a hair, dirt, dust and skin detritus MAGNET. You heard that right… Are you ever not fully showered and exfoliated??? The texture of the fabric literally shows the skin from your body as it scrapes it off like a nail file. You get a nice white line or mark from just your forearm running across the bag.
Every piece of fur, dust, hair, etc gets sucked across the room like this thing is a static electricity Tesla Coil. I have bags in almost EVERY form of material from leather & waxed canvas to Robic/every Xpac version known to man/6 variations of Ultra, Dyneema, Cordura, EmberTex and more that I am forgetting. Only thing close to this is some waxed canvas for hair/fur attraction and heavy duty Cordura from an …
Hi everyone. I just wanted to take the time to alert the community regarding a scammer I had the misfortune of falling prey to. Their username is u/ChikaChika23. Upon searching their username, I discovered multiple Reddit posts in various subreddits incriminating this individual of scamming other redditors as well. As far as I could tell, although they were implicated in other subreddits, I have not seen them mentioned here in Evergoods. Additionally, the username is listed in the Universal Banned List. Apparently, they use photoshop and will only accept payment through Zelle. Regretfully, I was scammed by this person after I posted in this month’s thread seeking to purchase a CPL 24 V3. Admittedly, I did not perform my due diligence and should have but then again, the few times I have used Reddit to purchase something have all gone very well without a hitch, so my previous positive experiences clouded my judgement. This is the first time I’ve had to deal with something of this nature …
Who of you keeps wishing for more earthy tones? Or is EG simply not listening to their users?
It looks like the 210D crinkle nylon Cordura my Aer Go Pack 2 is made out of (which I love). Similar?
