Honestly, they should’ve stayed with silver rings similar to Vader 4Pro. Looks much cleaner IMO
I ought to share my thoughts in a YouTube video after a good amount of time using this (bought this last week), but my initial review is that it feels absolutely worth every cheapskated cent I saved up. The features I normally assumed would be on more expensive controllers (hall effect and adjustable triggers, back buttons that actually work and hall effect sticks) are in this roughly 20 dollar (1095 Philippine Pesos) budget gaming masterpiece.
This’ll go well with my GameSir X5 Lite I bought off Facebook Marketplace for half its retail price
I’ve owned this controller since 2018 and the micro USB always annoyed me but it’s been my go to controller for emulators on PC and switch with the 8bitdo adapter. The mod was not too difficult, you just need the right tools to grind some plastic.
not a review/sponsored, this was bought years ago using birthday money + worlds finest chocolate
thumbsticks melted off from constant usage, id estimate 20k hours on it
DISCLAIMER: Flydigi sent me this controller for free for review. However, I only work with companies who let me say whatever I want and never restrict me in any way (any others I reject to work with). So all my reviews are always honest and unaffected by external opinions.
Flydigi updated Vader 5Pro - I call it v2.
I answered 3 main questions in this video:
1) Are there any differences between v1 and v2 boxes? How do I know if it’s v1 or v2?
2) Have they fixed back paddle mechanism? (I disassembled both controllers to be sure)
3) Have they fixed the problem with the joystick centering mechanism? (tested with specialized software)
Also, this video has slightly less editing, because I wanted to share this info with you as soon as possible.
My main bag cabinet was totally full. I had a random idea today. I took this bookshelf I bought from Shein and used it for my extra bags. Honestly it works so well. I love how it looks. It is a great way to display the collection! Curious how everyone else stores their bags lol
So I made this bag on request from someone whose work involves constant travel, mostly across rural parts of the US, and foreign trips..
He didn’t want to carry multiple bags, especially for longer trips.
Said he’s been using an AER City Pack, but needed something more flexible, that could work as a messenger sling when needed, but still function like a proper backpack.
So I built this based on my Intent 22 and pushed it to around 24L, with a bunch of changes and functional tweaks based on his use case:
1- Replaced the external double pockets with a single larger pocket and switched the Velcro flap to a magnetic flap
2- Added a zippered compartment inside that pocket, along with thin EVA padding on both outer and inner walls to fit and protect headphones.
3- Dedicated gadget slot with elastic bands and mesh under-pockets, plus another internal organization section.
4- Quick access top pocket for AirPods, gum, etc
5- Lower side access pocket for strap storage or other …
$76 plus tax w/ an actual lifetime warranty
A couple of weeks ago, Osprey released the Transporter Expandable Travel Pack 26+6, and I was instantly sold after spending way too many hours searching for a small travel backpack for long weekend trips (3–5 days). Shout out to u/MinuteLongFart for the post on r/OneBag that put this on my radar.
I was comfortably able to fit everything I took on my most recent long weekend trip into the Transporter with room to spare compared to what was able to fit in my Aer City Pack Pro (1st gen). I really love the color and overall look of the backpack, and even when fully loaded it didn’t feel uncomfortable.
The material is slick with a bit of rigidity that helps it hold its shape; it honestly reminds me of a plastic tarp in a good way. I’m looking forward to properly testing it on a longer trip next month, but first impressions are very promising.

Heading to Norway for 12d. My parents were amazed that this is all I’m bringing. It’s admittedly a bit of an experiment because none of my friends would try this so I’ll try it on a solo trip. I’ll admit figuring out what not to bring first for this first trip was challenging. Aer TP3 35L. It’s big but fills up fast! I’m a little past the 17.6lb Lufthansa weight limit so we’ll see how it goes when I get to Frankfurt. May have to move a few items into my packable backpack if they are weighing. First trip with this bag. It could definitely save some weight by getting rid of a few pockets that I don’t think add much.
Hi all,
I didn’t see much business travel posted nor from women, so I thought I’d combine the two and show what I’m packing for a 5-day trip. I forgot to include my little portable/expandable shopping bag, my UK travel adaptor, and my comb. Otherwise I think I captured everything here.
My work often involves travelling for 2-5 days at a time, usually with lots of client meetings, and mostly at an executive level. That said, it’s also in tech so I can get away with not being as polished as someone in, let’s say, marketing or finance. That is a good thing because I’m awful at looking after shoes, hate heels, and like walking.
I edited the background with AI so it’s weirdly added some crap into the photos like some black pills(???) just ignore those. 99% is just what I photographed.
The bag is Got Bag Serene. I chose it because it is almost precisely the measurements for the Lufthansa ‘Personal Item’ which fits under the seat in …

Going to London for a couple days later this week! Takes only about an hour from where I am to get into London via train. First day will be off to see a musical for my bestie’s belated birthday and getting dinner after. Will be staying in a hotel that work arranged, so a few basic toiletries were left at home. Second day is going into the office to meet up with colleagues and departing back home in the evening. Office dress code is very casual, so I am opting for comfort. I will mainly be inside, and do not get cold very easily, so bringing just one layer. Also the forecast is looking to be nearly 18°C/65°F with lots of sunshine!
Had an extended trip across the country with my Patagonia MLC 45 and I feel like I need to share the experience because I didn’t “optimize” my setup. I dress casually, I wear an XL, and I basically brought a week’s worth of clothes for cool to hot temperatures. I took a shower and changed clothes daily, and I did a load of laundry every week. I flew on Alaska and American, put my bag in the overhead without issue. Full packing list below (I wore a t shirt, hoodie, hat and jeans on the flights with my only shoes, the Altra Olympus 5)
Just got my new CTB26 in Fossil Brown along with a Cap 1 & Cap 2 in Burnt Orange! I have gone through 8 bags this year alone trying to get my EDC set up perfectly as a one bag. Finally pulled the trigger on this set up after trying AER, No Surrender Gear (Awesome company check them out) Alpaka, North Face, Heroes & Villains(🤣) and others to name a few! Have a flight tomorrow morning and can’t wait to see how it does!
I love putting my cpl16 like this on a train. Instant armrest upgrade. Snacks are in the front pocket for easy access.
I have two of the new TPC 4L (OD green and hot orange)…I also own a CPL 24, CTB 26 and a CHZ 22 so please feel free to ask me any querstion you have about the new packing cubes and I’ll try my best to answer it.
On first view they are literally a mini version of the TPC 10 (bigger one in hot orange) and also look like the two halfs of the TPC 8 (standard grey) but seperated.
I’m in the analysis paralysis stage of making my first purchase- I have been using a leather briefcase and my college book bag for work/travel the last 20 years and have been researching upgrading. I primarily work from home but go into an office at least one week a month for meetings and also travel frequently for one to four day work trips. With that use case, I found the waxed canvas CTB bags and love that professional look. Where I’m stuck is size- I see the 26L is sold out in canvas and it seemed like most comments were that size is a little big for the EDC use of going into an office. I was ready to buy the 20L but found a few threads on here that were negative about the CTB20L sizing in regards to “looking like a Star Wars backpack” dimensionally and it not being comfortable. If it helps, I am 6ft tall.
So looking for some advice so I can actually click the purchase button!
