Have not seen this here yet. Yesterday 8bitdo announced the pre-order timing for the Ultimate 3E (150$) XBOX Pro Controller.

At the same time they also silently revealed a cheaper (99$) version called Ultimate 3 =

• exact same shape and charging dock as 3E
• ABXY are fixed and non-removable (probably membrane like their other controllers)
• fixed D-Pad (not sure on that)
• TENSION RINGS like Flydigi has on the Vader series controllers
• Triggers, T-Stops, (back) button configuration is exactly the same as on the Ultimate 3E

Xbox has launched a Platform to collect feedback and what users really want.

This is both for the console, but also Xbox on PC.

I think universal gyro adoption is being held back by the Xbox controller, so let’s make some noise!

1) Design/Ergonomics/Comfort:

Fairly smaller and more handy compared to other xbox styled controller. Some might like, some might not. I have hands on the larger size but i still like it since it sits quite snug. It weighs 215gms. ( XBOX controller is 280. But it feels a lot more lighter probably because of weight distribution

The Sides are a lot more straight compared to the angled design of xbox controller.

Its quite comfy none the less, there is Textured back on which your palm can rest so even on long sessions it wont slip out.

And I really don’t like the design / colour of the Chiquillo 26L (Del Día), even my daughters think it’s really ugly 😔 it looks “cheap”, I think I’ll return it, I don’t know, I’m conflicted.

I’m trying to pack lighter for shorter trips.

My Momentum 4s are great on longer flights, but they take up a lot of space in my backpack. I also have these Baseus XC1 open-ear clip buds, and for a 2 or 3 hour flight I’m wondering if I should just bring those and leave the headphones at home.

The part I’m stuck on is whether ANC is still worth the extra space for short regional flights, or if the space saved by bringing smaller buds is worth giving up some isolation.

Do you usually travel with one pair, or still bring both headphones and earbuds?

As the title says, I just got back from a 9 day trip to Italy with just my Osprey Daylite 26+6 backpack at my service. I flew Ryanair and it fit perfectly well everywhere. I stuffed it quite a bit and it perfectly handled all that load, and was never bulky.

This is the packing list for my (23M) second one-bag trip. I’ll be traveling 8 days in Portugal across Lisbon and Porto. The weather will be sunny to partly cloudy, about 22°C. I didn’t even bring a daypack so I just unpacked at the hotel and used the Bullet as the daypack. Brought three swim trunks from Costco that also doubled as shorts, two pairs of Eddie Bauer technical pants, nine underwear (fresh every day!), five pairs of socks (beach, so didn’t need to wear them every day), two athletic polos from Old Navy, six 32 Degree Cool shirts, one pair of sandals, toiletries, plus the clothes on my person (windbreaker/rain jacket, hat, and sneakers were worn, not packed). Also various chargers/tech (iPad in the laptop compartment), a hydroflask, sunglasses, etc. Worked out well!

Couple of modifications I’ve made so far to the CTB26. All and all, extremely happy with my purchase, and open to any other recommendations on you guys may have to better personalize, or modify your EDC bags!

So far what I’ve done:

1. I found the handle straps to be a bit uncomfortable, so I used some crimson 550 paracord and wrapped it with some cobra knots along its length. Def gives the straps some better girth and comfortability when holding. Ended up also doing the admin pouch’s zipper, just to compliment the color.

2. Inspired by a post I saw earlier in the subreddit, I grabbed some shock cord and used to to help secure different pouches I might load up with, this one in particular is just my toiletry bag that I had pack for a weekend out.

3. Of course the popular hero clip (small), there’s some tables that it doesn’t necessarily fit on, but for 90% of situations, it gets the job done

This week I found out that an awesome bag retailer in Toronto, Te Koop, now has a wall full of Evergoods bags and gear in store 🤩

Finally Canadians can order in CAD (at par and with free shipping to boot) and not have to worry about the ever-changing FX or duties or the irritating brokerage fees.

Plus for those in TO, being able to touch the fabrics, compare sizes, and to see in person the difference between a CPL and a CTB to make an informed purchase is a huge advantage.

I already liked ordering stuff from this store because they have a ton of carry brands like Alpaka, Bellroy and Fjällräven, but now I have one more reason to see what’s new in stock.

It is a second hand so , even though it was near mint, I can’t use the evergoods warranty (it was no bought on the evergoods website)

Any recommandation to fix it ?

The lining of the shoulder strap tore when I took it off my shoulder. There was no impact or cut on my bag at all. I really don’t understand how this happened.

I put it aside while trying to figure out a warranty solution, but apparently without the receipt there’s no chance…

It’s the first bag in what has become a very long collection, and I hope the others won’t end up doing the same… (ctb26, mpl22, mhp…).

I’m looking for some advice from people who have experience with the Evergoods CPL24 and the CTB20 / CTB26.

I’m searching for an everyday carry backpack mainly for work and daily commuting. My typical carry includes:

* iPad and sometimes 16”inch mb pro

* glasses

* cables and tech accessories

* power bank

* AirPods

* lunch box

* 1L water bottle inside Citadel

* other small everyday essentials

Right now I’m using a Black Ember Citadel 25L (2019 version). Capacity-wise, it’s actually been pretty good for me overall. Most of the time I still have a bit of extra room, but every now and then I do end up using the full capacity. After about 7 years of daily use it’s getting pretty worn out, so I’m thinking about replacing it with an Evergoods bag.

I could also see myself using the new bag for short work trips of a few days, although I always travel with a carry-on suitcase as well. Right now, my Citadel can work as my only bag if I’m away for just one night.
