Family of four luggage for a trip to Disney. First time using the M23 for travel and the new CPPv2. Was cornered about the lack of luggage pass through on the M23 but the hero clip and strum strap works well.
This bag is amazing. Loving everything about it. Fits my daily needs.
TL;DR - my perfect flight/travel bag link here if helpful - https ://item.rakuten.co.jp/iketeivilla/966901/
Currently in Tokyo and came across a chain store called Sac’s Bar in Tokyo station - I had seen this in Seoul recently also but they had quite a different selection.
Long story short I had been browsing this subreddit for a while and my goal was to find the perfect flight bag (for me) - just large enough for my 11” iPad Pro, Sony headphones, battery pack, Nintendo switch l, travel docs and enough space for some snacks/a bottle of water. Ideally I wanted a cross body bag with some potential expansion zips and a nice neutral aesthetic.
Everything I found was either a little too big or a little too small or maybe I just didn’t like the aesthetic of. I just wanted to share after lurking here for a few months making my decision and finally finding the one! Especially as I have not seen this come up. Maybe you can all tell me it is a knock off of another brand etc but the store sold …
I run a bag brand and I’ve been seeing a bunch of convos and questions around here and over r/manybaggers lately about the bag business model and the effects of tariffs. So, I thought I’d share what it looks like from the driver’s seat of one brand. Hopefully some of you find it interesting or useful if you ever decide to start your own bag biz.
The basics on how things work at a brand like ours that sells both direct-to-consumer and wholesale(working through retailers):
I feel like there is a great gulf between people who sweat very little and only with great exertion (“I wear the same pair of merino socks, underwear, and Tshirt the whole week”) versus those who sweat copiously everywhere with just a brisk walk (“I bring a fresh shirt, underwear, and socks for each day of the trip and that is nonnegotiable”).
I know this because my daughter can swipe on deodorant (not even antiperspirant) once after a shower and not again for a week and not smell at all while I’m over here applying clinical strength antiperspirant daily.
I’ve been experimenting with onebag travel and loving the freedom, but it’s not without its challenges. Curious to hear from others, what do you struggle with the most? Packing choices, laundry, lack of variety, or something else entirely?
Can be a small unexpected item that ended up being super useful or just makes travel a lot more smoothernfor ya. I’m on the lookout for smart little additions I might be missing!!
We’re on our 10-day countdown to our 15-day trip to Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto). Weather could be anywhere from 40°F to 70°F. We expect some rain and are prepared to buy an umbrella there.
GENERAL ITINERARY: We’re starting off with a few nights in Tokyo/Chiba for Star Wars Celebration (convention), then spending three nights in Osaka and Kyoto each, followed by three nights at Disneyland.
This is my final setup and my first time one-bagging a trip longer than a long weekend. Historically, I’ve always overpacked - options are fun and less decisions to make while packing ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I’ve also realized I end up not wearing half of what I brought. This group has really inspired me!
We will be doing laundry as needed—handwashing and/or using hotel machines. Most of the clothes in my kit will be hand-washed.
My main bag is the Cotopaxi Allpa 42L. My daypack is the Cotopaxi Batac 16L, which will also serve as my personal item on the plane. The Batac will be tucked into the Allpa while …
Hi all!
I’m leaving for a two week vacation in Scotland with my Quechua NH Escape 500 roll top in 23L. The backpack is full with my jackets inside, but not expanded (it expands up to 27 liters and can be over packed to a bit more). It weights just under 5kg (11 pounds) fully packed. I’m also taking a small lightweight cross body bag.
My itinerary includes lots of city walking, museums and hiking. I will be visiting Edinburgh, Inverness, Fort William, Malaig, Glasgow, Stirling and London.
The temperature will range from 1 C to 20 C (33 F to 68 F). I’m from a tropical country, so my cold weather gear is a bit limited. The rain jacket is quite bulky , but it’s my only warm waterproof jacket and I got it for free from work.
Besides the intercontinental flights, I’m only taking public transport and getting around with trains and buses. I’m also doing a few daytrips where I won’t be able to leave my backpack at the hostel, so keeping the bag …
I’m usually wearing Outlier for work (Futureworks and any T), but occasionally I have to dress up a bit for customer meetings or conferences (dress shirt, nice pants, dress shoes). Do you have any brand recommendations for those occasions? So far, I’ve been considering Ministry of Supply.
Trackwool Yeses - High Risk - Final Sale
A high-risk, high-reward ultralight weight wool+nylon pants experiment [#519]. These pants are beautiful but don’t meet our durability standards so we’ll never make them again. But because they are so damn nice we’re making them available at a dramatically reduced price (originally $375) for people comfortable taking lots of risk. Runs small so we recommend sizing up. No returns, these are a final sale product.
any idea when these will be back in stock?? these have become a staple of my wardrobe and I recently lost one.
An Injected Linen six panel cap with a 3Bar K-back adjustment. The 3Bar allows for rapid and secure adjustment while the K-back setup allows for subtle changes to the head fit. Two layers of open yet opaque Injected Linen fabric provides breathable sun protection. Bulk buy eligible.

As in if you wore something out for the day, it’s not quite dirty or smelly, especially if you just let it air out for a day. I don’t want to store them with my clean clothes, but I now have a bunch of semi-dirty clothes lying all over the place.
