Full disclosure: I never played Cyberpunk prior to patch 1.5 because of everything I’d heard about it, so I have no basis to compare to in terms of how bad things may have been before.
But what I do know now, at 10 hours in, is that Cyberpunk is a game with a major identity crisis.
It started off fantastic IMO. The first few hours were incredibly immersive, with great writing and characters, wonderfully creative world design and an attention to detail that I found to be absolutely staggering. I couldn’t wait to keep getting lost in this world and seeing what else it had to offer.
And yet, somehow it feels like Cyberpunk played its full hand too soon. Because the further I go, the more its issues start to stick out.
For one, my last play session was 45 minutes long. Literally 40 minutes of it was V and another character talking, driving around, making mostly inconsequential dialogue decisions (seriously, why are so many dialogue choices basically “what order do you …

Me and my wife and my best friend have been playing Valheim almost every night for the last three months and it has been awesome. I love that it has something for those who like to build and those who prefer fighting and exploring.
We finished it, but I’ve been scratching my head hard at what we should play next. I thought about Ark, but it seems it is a tiny bit too complex for my wife, who prefers to hunt and explore. Are there any other great suggestions out there (not Minecraft - wife can’t deal with the super pixel graphics) that work really well with multiplayer?

Are there any games out there with similar mechanical styles to Warzone/Apex but have an element of looting or character progression? Something to aim for outside of just fragging/winning.
