The rapid rise of Clair Obscur Expedition 33 and Blue Prince after IGN features and following up with strong reviews is pretty fascinating. Clair Obscur no doubt places nicely, looks good and feels like a polished AA experience we’re needing in the industry (I’ve been playing and while not my style of game it does feel nice), and Blue Prince truly delivered as a standout puzzler which I have been enjoying.
These games got huge visibility boosts seemingly overnight through media coverage, even if smaller communities existed beforehand.
Are these big popularity spikes becoming more frequent due to targeted media hits? Does anyone else get a feeling that things seem…odd? No disrespect to the games at all, but the approach feels different
Anyone remember this game? I was just watching it play out and man it was a banger. Any of you guys have fond memories of 90s adventure games? The quality in this game is crazy good. Love it!
I just played against this abomination of a draft.
Underlord and Kotl just push out waves and farm. Furion and Tinker are untouchable in lane.
Once they have their item timings, Storm zips on you and suddenly you have 5 heroes on your ass with infinite mana, 15% Damage reduction, +25% Bonus Move Speed, Shielded and Barrier up and healed by March and Illuminate. That Underlord Innate is insane with these heroes.
You cant teamfight, you cant splitpush, you cant outfarm them. What the fuck are you supposed to do?
Me (new, has yet to unlock ranked) and my friend (long time player) were going over my (bad) ward positioning and i’ve had a lot of games where clearly, i mean surely the enemy see my ward right? (like image above).
But they just, walk past it? And this is right after radiant killed 3 people on my team. this part of the map is very safe rn to just hit the eye twice. And it’s free gold and exp.
Is this a strategy I just don’t know about?
(also ill take any warding tips)
It’s 815am and it’s at 23 minutes now. I’ve also been having an issue with brand new players in my games despite myself having 3k games. I stopped playing for a couple years and this has been an issue for the last several weeks.
I want to go to his house and piss on his door everyday for a week
Right now we have:
- Shiv, current member of Baxter Society.
- Grey Talon, retired member of Baxter Society.
- Calico, former member of Baxter Society. You can learn that by hear dialogue with Holliday.
Coincidence? Or maybe members have to cut off their arm as Assassins from AC for the hidden blade?
Preserving your K/D is a throw.
In a game focused around objectives (Guardians, Walkers, urns, rejuv, base, general map control), we have many tools to aid in securing them. One of the most overlooked strategical options I’ve seen is one’s own life, and if it means your team secures an objective, dying can be worth it. Your K/D alone is not nearly as indicative of team contribution as it is in FPS games such as CoD, CS, etc., so do not be scared to push, create openings, and displace enemies’ defense.
Much like in chess, it can often be worth trading a pawn in order to capture a higher value piece.
This is not to say run into every enemy you see and finish the round 1 kill and 16 deaths, but 5-10 is nothing to feel bad about if you win and are contributing to your team’s success in the process.
Please note: I do not mean to speak down to anyone based on rank, nor do I mean to imply that I am “better” than anyone! I only hope to remind those I have seen from beginner ranks all the …
I have been wanting to hit a clip like this for weeks and it finally happened when my clipping software was turned off so I clipped the replay smh
If you will please consult the chart.
they don’t even know Bullet Dance aims for you.
Do any other viscous players do this? There are a few more around the map but this one I find most useful.
