Hello r/pcgaming! Developer of the game here. Decimation just recently launched into Early Access after about 26 months of solo development and just wanted to share it with the community.
It’s tower defense at its core, but placing towers well isn’t enough to win. You directly control a hero on the field with ARPG-style combat, where you’ll be dodging attacks, timing 4 active skills and picking up power-ups while your towers hold the line.
Elite enemies also drop special effect orbs that pause the fight and let you pick from random battle effects (damage boosts, speed manipulation, etc.), so no two runs play quite the same.
