I’ve been working on a python script which automatically downloads mods from a list of id’s. It downloads the most updated version alongside any optional files/versions you specify. It doesn’t require your mouse or any part of your computer to be left alone, it just downloads in the background as long as the window is not minimized.

Would people be interested in me posting the finished version on github for public use?

Interesting fact: Eul’s has been dropping in popularity in recent years, as can be seen from the stats in this infographic and the one I initially made for Eul’s 5 years ago:

Average Eul’s per game five years ago:

• 1.53 Eul’s in pro matches
• 0.99 Eul’s in pub matches

Average Eul’s per game now:

• 0.92 Eul’s in pro matches
• 0.24 Eul’s in pub matches

That basically means that we used to see around one Eul’s per game in pubs back in the day, whereas now you might see one in every four games. Do these stats match what you notice in your games?

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about smurfs lately—higher-skilled players ruining lower-ranked games by destroying opponents with Meepo, Arc Warden, or whatever hero can solo carry. I honestly don’t get why people buy low-ranked accounts just to play on them. Is it to boost your ego? Make yourself feel better? I just don’t know.

So that’s why I’ve decided to reverse smurf. I’m going to get a high-rank account and play there instead. I’ll bring my Crusader mindset into the Immortal bracket so they know how it feels! See you soon, Immortal players.
