Cosmoteer is a game about designing and battling awesome, often huge starships! You design your ship on a 2D grid by laying out corridors, weapons, thrusters, crew’s quarters, and other rooms. It’s extremely flexible and can be in any shape you won’t; you aren’t restricted to some pre-defined hull with preset hardpoints.
Inside each ship is a simulation of its crew, who perform various tasks such as piloting the ship, operating weapons, and carrying munitions, power batteries, and other supplies. You’ll have to think about how you lay out your ship’s internal floor plan, because how quickly crew can delivery munitions or power to a weapon or shield will determine how fast the weapon can shoot or how long the shield can stay charged.
Combat is physics-driven with super-satisfying module-based destruction. There’s no single “health bar” for the whole ship; instead, each module has its own health …

I’m Rares from Gummy Cat and we just launched Bear and Breakfast which is a laid-back management adventure game where you build and run a bed and breakfast, but you’re a bear.
How does it play? You basically run around controlling a bear named Hank, you explore a handful of areas that get progressively larger and you find and repair old cabins and resorts, building rooms, decorating and managing guests in and out. There’s a linear story that takes you through the game and goes alongside the more management mechanics.

The one that is most memorable and exciting. Because for some reason I can’t name that many of them. But what’s yours and why?

Adaca just released from early access and is a one person project that has really impressed me. It’s inspired by early 2000’s shooters.
The gameplay is extremely reminiscent of half life 2, particularly the fact that it’s focused on physics. One of the refinements is your gravity gun (arm) can be used at any time. It didn’t need to be switched to as a distinct gun. The guns, enemies, environments, controls, and level progression seems heavily influenced by HL2 as well.
The other clear inspiration is Halo, which seems to be more in the presentation. The game universe is sci-fi but many guns are realistic ballistics. Some areas are wide open natural environments with a similar color palette as Halo. The overall sandbox is definitely reminiscent of Halo at times. There’s other references too such as some of the guns being a clear nod.
