Far Away From Home is a story-driven tactical RPG inspired by the likes of Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre, I aimed for having deep customization options along with a challenging difficulty level. You can turn monstrous enemies into friends who will then join you in battle, customize your party with a variety of builds, and craft powerful gear to enhance or completely change up your playstyle.
After a mysterious turn of events during a scientific unveiling gone awry, Simon and his allies initially think themselves lost. However, after a hostile encounter with strange creatures, they soon learn that their predicament is much more dire.

About game
You play as a mech pilot defending colonies on the moons of Jupiter against pirates, bandits and greedy corporation, but there is something much worse out there. Humans thought they were alone in the Sol system, but they were mistaken. We were observed, but observation period is about to end.

Key features
We have just released a major patch which contains a lot of additions: crafting & professions (fishing, cooking, mining etc.), talents (or perks), new abilities and a new Archer build, featuring ranged combat! Now it can be compared - more or less - to Morrowind. Actually, our system equipment - with its 20 slots! - seems to be more detailed than The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind.
Until now it was possible to play only as a swordsman. Since now on the player can play as a bowman. It offers the opportunity to engage enemies form a safe® distance.
Professions:
We have included three professions: Medicine, Crafting and Survival. With Medicine one will be able to craft potions for healing and elixirs that will increase stats for a longer duration. Collecting herbs will play a crucial role in this profession.
With Crafting one can create some auxiliary armor pieces, item upgrades and jewels for enhancing items and weapons. Collecting animal hides and mining will be very …
I just randomly logged on, and found this. I always wanted this game, but never wanted to pay for it, lol:
TLDR: For those like me that have performance issues due to low CPU/GPU usage (CPU “bottlenecking”) with Spider-Man, disable hyperthreading (probably also true for SMT (AMD users)).

Since the release that people have been reporting framerate drops (on Steam forums) especially with RT on.
Graphics card is not fully used because CPU usage is relatively low (Edit: cpu usage should be higher (even though the game is cpu bound) considering that GPU usage is not full with unlocked framerate as should be the case. Almost as if the CPU is a bottleneck) and this causes some systems not being able to reach 60fps in several cases with high end CPU/GPUs.
I just tried disabling Hyperthreading on my i9 9900K (after seeing people reporting this) and my framerate drops are now fixed entirely even with RT on (which made the issue a lot worse).
My results (i9 9900KF / RTX 3080):

Some people recommended Plague Inc. which is a great strategy game but is not like the beforementioned
Can anyone suggest more games like Arx Fatalis, Call of Cthulhu (new and old one both great), Condemned - Criminal Origin. I’m looking for gems like these, some of them are truly underrated. Oh and I just found out about Cry of Fear in one of the posts, now I’m wondering what other titles are still out there that I’ve never heard of.
Edit: Thank you guys, turns out I’m missing plenty and thanks to folks of this subreddit, found some gems to play again! I don’t know why but there is a spacial charm to older generation of dark themed games (for me) that I cannot find any in modern nowadays titles.
