Why on Earth does Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022)’s SINGLEPLAYER campaign require a persistent internet connection to play if you’re only playing by yourself? You’re paying full price for something you can’t play offline, you do not own and when the Activision servers go down you’re left with a 125 GB paperweight. Always online DRM is anticonsumer and I sincerely hope this scumbag practice becomes illegal.

I haven’t seen much mention of this in reviews for the game, but it’s a pretty big issue with playing.
The game is a great port otherwise, but aiming is extremely difficult because it is not only obnoxious levels, but also seems to be impacted by framerate, and the only “locked” option is 30 FPS.
It’s also got a very low sensitivity. I had to bump my DPI up to around 8,000 to get a full 360 rotation across my mousepad.
Gunplay is frustrating due to this issue, doable, but feels floaty and imprecise, and not just because of weapon spread. Fine aiming is a struggle because I’m constantly fighting with the game’s forced acceleration.
EDIT:
Locking the framerate helps mitigate the problem and does stabilize camera movement and aiming a little, but does not solve the issue.
The camera doesn’t have mouse acceleration. Aiming absolutely does, and it is still to an obnoxious degree.
