My name is Istvan, I am the founder of a small independent game developer, Primal Game Studio. I’d like to show you the current state of the game my girlfriend and I have been working on (with an ever growing team around us) for 4.5 years now, Mandragora.
Mandragora is a blend of the classic Castlevania games (level structure, exploration) and large-scale RPGs (deep character-development system), with elements from various different other games, such as Dark Souls (various combat elements), Darkest Dungeon (base development) and Ori and the Blind Forest (art style) Below you can find some links to actual gameplay videos, our steam page and our ongoing Kickstarter campaign that will end in 48 hours.

Kainga: Seeds of Civilization is a unique roguelite-inspired village-builder. Be warned, its stunning landscapes hide many threats. Procedural Generation
My ambition with Vagabond is to generate worlds as interesting and living as possible to be the playground of fun role-playing adventures. I want to take advantage of procedural generation to create worlds full of details. I also believe that it will allow to create more dynamic worlds as it is possible to generate events, stories and characters on the fly.
Contrary to most sandbox games with procgen worlds, worlds in Vagabond are fully generated before the game starts and aren’t infinite because the different parts of the worlds are deeply interconnected. NPCs are aware of the world and …

I am honestly in love with the Sony’s super consumer friendly decisions lately, they have finally decided to launch games in the PC market and as someone who hasn’t owned a PlayStation since ps3, I couldn’t be happier. Everyone wins here! But PC gamers get a lot now.

Ubisoft is guilty of this the most probably. I just downloaded ghost recon wild lands since I enjoy 3 man tactical shooters, but it’s just fiillled with little ads and gimmicky floating texts saying I’ve unlocked this or that even though I haven’t even played the game yet let alone finished the first cutscene.
Then I load up cyberpunk and the text is just such an eye sore to read and there’s so much of it…it made me turn both games off immediately.
I don’t want flashing screens with 100x reward notifications for a game I haven’t even played yet. And I don’t want convoluted hard to read UI for crafting and skill systems that, from what I hear, can be completely ignored the entire game anyway (which just irks me even more really).
