My friends and I have been working on Dungeon Settlers for about three years now. The easiest way to describe it is probably “RimWorld meets Darkest Dungeon,” with a stronger emphasis on strategic combat.
Dungeon Settlers blends colony management with dungeon expeditions. You take on the role of an expedition leader tasked with establishing a settlement in a barren land. You must provide food and shelter for your people while assembling parties and sending them into the merciless dungeons below.
Combat is strategic and takes place in real time with pause, where positioning, skill synergies, and careful planning are essential. Every decision matters, as fallen party members are lost permanently.
The exciting news is that we launched into Early Access just a few days ago, on September 4!
I’ve been incredibly busy releasing updates almost every day since launch, but it’s also been rewarding to see the game steadily improve. We still have a long way to go, and I’m confident that …

Little guide for all those who game on a NVIDIA 4000 class card and want to run DLSS 5 with “real” multi frame gen
Step 1: Download OptiScaler_DLSSNR (Link: https://github.com/Dagherbou/OptiScaler_DLSSNR) -> Install OptiScaler_DLSSNR , set it up (run it ingame, so the optiscaler.ini properly sets up)
Step 2: Download ReShade Setup with full Add-on support (https://reshade.me/#download) -> unpack (not run!) and copy the ReShade64.dll into the folder of your game exe
Step 3: Edit the Optiscaler.Ini and set LoadReshade to “true”
Step 4: Download MFGAdaUnlock-RenoDx (Link: https://github.com/mavismmg/MFGAdaUnlock-RenoDx/)
-> Place the renodx-mfgunlock.addon64 file (from the github linked here) into the folder with the game exe Optiscaler will now automatically load the addon64 file, no need to set up Reshade.
Step 5: Enjoy proper 4x MFG with DLSS 5.
good to know:
This will likely only work with games that have native DLSS and MFG support. …

Far as long as I’ve been gaming (decades), the brand new games pushed PCs to their limits… fairly comfortable in the knowledge that advancement in hardware would pretty quickly catch up to the game’s requirements.
But the situation has changed. The cost for cutting edge hardware is rapidly approaching ludicrous. And it appears it will be this way for the foreseeable future.
So a game that’s targeting a release in the next year or two, are these developers anticipating hardware that’s on a curve that most people won’t reach? Or are they dialing things back?
Anyone with first hand knowledge?
