Hi there r/Games! I’m making a chaotic FPS in a constantly moving environment. Jump your way through insane levels on top of speeding trucks, trains and planes.
MEATGRINDER is a brutal and fast-paced FPS where everything is rapidly moving in an epic road chase. Fight hordes of punks in ever-changing environments and grind the meat.
This game is inspired by classic action movies like Mad Max and Matrix combined with modern shooters like Doom Eternal and Ultrakill. It’s like if Clustertruck had a baby with Duke Nukem.
I’ve also added some fresh mechanics to motivate players move fast. It can be briefly described like this:

What is GROSS?
GROSS is a Tower Defense/First Person Shooter hybrid in the spirit of the classic Sanctum games. The game tries to preserve what makes both of these genres great individually: To solve the puzzle of placements and synergies that make a defensive maze efficient and deadly, and rewarding gunplay with many different guns and abilities.
Unlike other games that use elements of Tower Defense, GROSS is a full TD game - you can build mazes and place turrets pretty much wherever your heart desires. The FPS part is equally fleshed out, with many different guns, ammunitions and abilities. It has been said that the gunplay “feels stupid good” (by some rando on the internet who I’ve never met or bribed to the best of my knowledge).

We released our studio’s second game Robotry! about 2 months ago. It’s a physics-based platformer where you don’t have a jump button - instead you jump by pushing against the ground with your legs. All other actions like walking, somersaulting, and pushing buttons are also done by directly controlling the robot’s legs. Our main sources of inspiration have been other physics-based games like Heave Ho or Bennett Foddy’s Getting Over It, though we wanted to make something with a bit more lighthearted, cheerful and fleshed out world. It’s less frustrating than Getting Over It, but don’t be fooled by the cute graphics! It’s a challenging game from beginning to end.

Hello everyone,
I am a solo developer currently making my first commercial game. It is puzzle game where the players interact with cubes by pushing and dragging it to solve the puzzle. The gameplay is clearly inspired by Portal and with a little bit of Stanley Parable humor in the mix.

Banished, Timberborn, Dawn of Man, Foundation, Going Medieval, Farthest Frontier, Settlement Survival, Against the Storm, Kingdoms Reborn, Ostriv, and more.
All games that look pretty similar to each other. Which one do you think is best? I’m especially looking for one where the late game stays good, since with quite a lot of them I hear things like that you have to micromanage too much for it to be feasible large scale, etc.
What I like about these games is exploring abandoned/almost abandoned places and discovering stories or secrets of these places and people clue by clue.
I finished Prey and am currently playing through Subnautica. I am sure I played more of similar games, but these two come first to my mind.
I am open to other genres, games with different gameplay but including elements described in the first paragraph. I’ll take games that are just similar to these in any way as well, so feel free to comment.
