Fans of old school 2D JRPGs, who would like something made today that resembles the great Super Nintendo and PS1 classics, need to play Chained Echoes. It’s a wonderful game. It’s more ambitious than the common indie throwback JRPG, but has many of their modernizations. Every single element of Chained Echoes is full of loving attention to detail. Hopefully Chained Echoes is a success and we can see future projects from its creator. I’ve already ordered a physical copy.

Why am I here?
I made this silly little pixel art game for a game jam back in April, and against all common sense I decided to quit a perfectly good job and spend the next 9 months turning it into a real thing. I’ve posted here a few times before, but I wanted to share this again as release is right around the corner! I’m really happy with how far it’s come, and at the very least I have had a blast making it. It’s all thanks to the support and feedback I’ve gotten from posting it here and places like it!
What is it?
Tower Escape is a “Reverse Tower Defense” with roguelike deckbuilder elements. Similar to traditional TD, you have a planning phase where you can take your time, laying out a course through a maze to try to collect treasures along the way. Short introduction
WalkScape is a game inspired by RuneScape and other MMOs but with a twist - you progress in it by walking in the real world! It’s designed to be non-intrusive, with no predatory monetization practices. By non-intrusive we mean that it will truly let you enjoy your time outside by not constantly requiring your attention. Everything that needs active involvement (like combat or quests) should be done when you get home.
