I’m looking for some Co-Op Games to play with my Fiance. Problem is, that she’s quite a Casual while I’m gaming since roughly 22 Years.
I’m looking for Games, where we both can have Fun but the Problem is, that’s quite hard for me to hold back, so in Games like Castle Crashers, she’s often complaining that she’s feeling useless and that I’m to far ahead.
So to circumvent this Issue, I’m looking for Games, where one Player can go out to gather Resources (mostly through Combat) while the other Player can tend to the Base. Neither Part of the Game should be shallow, so that neither Player gets bored. She likes the Wildlife Park Series while I mostly play RPGs. I had quite some Fun with Oblivion, Skyrim, Dark Souls I - III, Witcher I - III, KOTOR I & II, Mass Effect I - III, Darkest Dungeon, Pathfinder Kingmaker, Divinity Original Sin I & II, Tyranny, Dragon Age: Origins & 2, WoW TBC/WotlK, Guild Wars 2, Path of Exile, …
So, the process of remaking/remastering old 2D sprite based games have been given a boost in recent years with AI upscaling techniques, some which can even add detail that didn’t exist in the original sprites.

Just wondering, has there been similar advances for 3D polygonal models?
Are there AI techniques that can turn a lowpoly model into a much more detailed model with more polys and higher res textures, depth maps etc?
Edit: I know there’s subdivision and smoothing tools in 3D modelling software. If you look at the 2D example above, you see that the AI uses the source image for context and then pretty much generates an entirely new image that matches the shape of the original. That’s what I’m asking about, for 3D.
