I know it’s a bold claim, and please don’t pile on me about how wrong you may think this is. But I’ve been gaming for over 40 years and have played thousands of games, and nothing has touch how much fun I have in this game.
There are 4 factors that makes it great.
#1 - The art. I hate Pixel art with an unholy passion. But the art in this game is cute, entrancing, and fun!
#2 - The resources. You’re moving through 15 levels of dungeons in a methodical way, each one full of surprises. #3 - The items. There is an endless array of items, and crafting in the game. I’m running a full crafting build and it’s been so much fun searching for things to …
I have this since early access but I was waiting for 1.0 and I’m now starting a new playthrough.
For those that like Surviving Mars, Ixion and other base builders but also enjoy automating productions, you should try this out.
Satelital is a rule-discovery puzzle game where you explore alien worlds and figure out how their puzzles work without being explicitly told the rules.
While the puzzles are much more inspired by The Witness, the space exploration and travelling between different planets were inspired by Outer Wilds.
It’s a 2D open-world game with 6 celestial bodies that you can explore in any order. The full game has 120+ handcrafted puzzles, with no combat, enemies or lengthy tutorials.
I also made everything in the game myself, including the art, music, puzzle design, and even the game engine, which I built from scratch.
The demo includes two complete worlds and should give you a good idea of what the full game is like.
You can find the demo here:

If you give it a try and enjoy it, I’d really appreciate a Steam review. It helps a lot as an indie developer.
I’m also around on Discord if you want to share feedback or …
