While the game stumbles here and there regarding camera issues, story, and a lack of enemy variety at launch, Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force and EA’s latest game still manages to land on its own two feet. A brilliant crafting system makes Wild Hearts unique and a lovely addition to the hunting subgenre.

This is a common bug with UE games where the fullscreen resolution is set at something lower than your native resolution despite what the options menu says.
For example, my game was actually running at 1440p even though it said it was running at 4k. Thought the game was blurr, set the game to borderless windowed and suddenly everything was much clearer because it was then actually running at 4k.
Sadly, this possibly means a lot of initial reports of good performance are skewed due to this. For instance, I first ran the benchmark on my 3080 and was getting averages of 130fps which seemed great. Wasn’t until I reset the resolution to actually be 4k that the average then went down to 90-100 (with DLSS Quality).
So, I thought that RT Audio was on by default or at least as soon as you enable one of the surround or spatial (3D) audio mixes and wasn’t that impressed playing with headphones. It sounded good no doubt but not that much better than other spatial audio solutions I am used over the years (I am a big fan of spatial audio ever since getting a SB X-FI 15 years ago), especially after playing Dead Space with its fantastic audio.
Boy, was I missing out. With RT audio turned on after stumbling over the advanced settings under audio (for as much praise as they deserve for putting all those options in on top of the excellent benchmarking tool their UI is a bit confusing IMO) the game truly sounds special and is among the best sounding none VR games to me.
