Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 came out the gates swinging, to critical acclaim from both professional reviewers and gamers. On OpenCritic, it’s 2025’s best game, same on MetaCritic.
Reviews praised every aspect, from gameplay to story, from visuals to audio. There’s even plans for a live action movie.
Now, that the initial hype died down (relatively), let’s have a discussion about the game and its potential future.
Videogames have grown into an industry with billions of customers worth hundreds of billions of euros. During this time, a specific business practice in the industry has been slowly emerging that is not only an assault on basic consumer rights but is destroying the medium itself.
An increasing number of publishers are selling videogames that are required to connect through the internet to the game publisher, or “phone home” to function. While this is not a problem in itself, when support ends for these types of games, very often publishers simply sever the connection necessary for the game to function, proceed to destroy all working copies of the game, and implement extensive measures to prevent the customer from repairing the game in any way.
This practice is effectively robbing customers of their purchases and makes restoration impossible. Besides being an affront on consumer rights, videogames themselves are unique creative works. Like film, or music, one cannot be …
Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing well.
I love doing giveaways, but noticed I never done one before here. I appreciate this community so much. If it’s not for community like these then we can never share our hard work for little guys like us. I just wanted to give something back here now to the PC gamers!

All you have to do is comment anything so I can see you! You can comment anything you want .. what you are going to buy if you win, your favorite game, a sweet memory from your old PC gaming days or such!
Just leave a comment and I will choose two random winners with redditraffler! I …
Sifu was previously free for 1 day during the Christmas giveaway, Gigapocalypse has never been free before and Deliver At All Costs launched today!
Hi everyone,
I want to share a concern that’s been on my mind for some time now, and I genuinely hope this reaches the devs, especially Yoshi or anyone on the team shaping Deadlock’s direction. I’m not a pro player or a streamer—just someone with a full-time job who plays Deadlock casually with friends. I’ve logged about 100 hours into the game and enjoy it for what it offers.
As someone who likes to follow the content side of my games, I naturally started watching streams and community discussions around Deadlock. That’s when I came across Metro.
At first, I thought it’d be good to watch a high-skill player and maybe pick up a few things, but very quickly, it became clear that his stream is less about the game and more about constant toxic behavior. Every time I tune in—and I really mean every single time—the vibe is the same. If he dies in-game, it’s immediately someone else’s fault. You can see the switch flip in real time; the yelling starts, the blame gets dished …
In the May 8th patch, they said that the scaling was reduced from 1.3 to 1.2. Now this seems like a nothing change. Until you look at the ability data right before the update, for april 18th, being 1.6x. and you check the ability data for may 8th, you see it becomes 1.2x.
And if lying about the actual change wasn’t enough, they also silently nerfed the non-hero damage from 0.6x to 0.5x
I personally think the new art has way less contrast and feels way worse. Especially her eyes seem super super far apart now.
