I presented JOY OF PROGRAMMING - Software Engineering Simulator here on r/games’ Indie Sunday two times so far and it was met with an overwhelmingly positive reception. Your interest and support for such a niche game really mean a lot!
In case you missed it, the game is all about using Python to solve challenging tasks in realistic, physically simulated 3D environments. It will cover a wide range of topics, and hopefully present interesting challenges to all skill levels. Development is well underway, but I can’t announce a fixed release date yet. Aiming for end of this year though.

I introduced our CRPG The Necromancer’s Tale here last year and have received some great feedback. Our demo on Steam has been out for a while and we’ve gathered a lot of feedback from around 1000 players – not just bugs, but a lot of encouragement and data on what players actually love about the game. Thanks so much to everyone who has given feedback!
Set in an alt-history kingdom near Venice in 1733, The Necromancer’s Tale portrays a character struggling with his/her inner demons as they get dragged into the necromantic arts and the realm of the dead. We’ve been working on it since late 2019.
What have we learned from the demo?
As well as collecting feedback from players in a form, we also integrated a bunch of telemetry/analytics, which helps us understand how players interact with the game and where they get stuck/bored/bugged.

We’re two siblings who have been working on this rat game for a bit more than a year. It is mostly inspired by Conker’s Bad Fur Day (in its tone) and Zelda’s : Majora’s Mask (in its mechanics). We hope to deliver a story-rich non linear game with action oriented gameplay.

Spiritfall is a Roguelite with combat inspired by Platform Fighters.

If you ever wanted the movement and combat system of a Platform Fighter (Brawlhalla, Smash Bros.) but in a single-player Roguelite (Hades, Dead Cells) - Spiritfall was made for you.

Hey everyone, my name is Chase. Over the last year I’ve been working on a modern city builder in a retro style, inspired by the classic pixel art games of the 90s and 00s. Check out my subreddit or twitter for more clips!
Im also heavily inspired by modern day base builders (Dwarf Fortress, Rimworld), and wanted to bring individual agent simulation to the city building genre.
Other features:
Design your own buildings, save them as blue prints
Agents will utilize specific room and objects in the game
Agents will have schedules, go to work, shop, etc.
Real time traffic, just like Cities: Skylines
Plus building off all the core city building elements of the classics!
The plan is to release a pre-alpha build for low $ in Spring/Summer 2023 to start getting feedback, for Windows/PC.

We are two devs (husband and wife team) working on Riftbound - our fresh take on the lane defense genre. Inspired by Plants vs Zombies, we’ve put our own unique spin on the gameplay and are excited to bring more of this genre to PC.

Important Note: We released Riftbound in May 2022. This is our first game, and in hindsight, we should have opted for Early Access (live & learn) - but, we’re proud of how far we’ve come, and we’ve been hard at work improving the game in every way possible, including the addition of two new game modes. Our new Roguelite game mode is now the main way to play the game, with a host of new systems, mechanics, and content.

Out of all the card games out there, there aren’t really any that focus on the collecting and swapping of cards. For me, collecting a set of cool looking monster cards and displaying them all together in your binder(s) is the best part. Isle of Swaps is a singleplayer TCG, focusing on Trading cards with the residents of your island in a quest to complete the whole set.
