Spiritfall was finally released in Early Access last week. Throughout the game’s development, we shared updates here and received helpful feedback. Thank you all for supporting us and for having a place for indie games to feel acknowledged.
Spiritfall combines roguelike elements from games like Hades and Dead Cells with combat inspired by platform fighters such as Brawlhalla and Super Smash Bros.

For those of you who played the Demo, expect to see a new Weapon and Region (+new enemies and regional boss) in this updated version as well as some various QOL changes, bug fixes, and an overhauled Enchantments system.

Hello, this is my first Indie Sunday! I’m a solo developer working on It Consumes, a roguelike arena-FPS set in total darkness, where you see by using demonic sonar.
To see your surroundings in the pitch black void, you have to use your pulse. Pressing the pulse button sends out an otherworldly, sonar-like wave of red that washes over everything it touches as it expands outwards from your position, and fades away after several seconds. But you have to be mindful about how you use it since the pulse has a short cooldown, and trying to use it again before the cooldown ends will lock down its use for a brief period, leaving you in the dark.
As you may have guessed, being left in the dark is bad. You are in an arena facing wave after wave of tentacle monsters, flying skulls, giant snakes, and other horrible monsters. So you have to balance between the frantic gameplay of shooting and dodging enemies while calmly and consistently using your pulse. It’s not …

New Game Mechanics
Damage capacity - All the monsters have a new inheritable trait called damage capacity. This indicated the amount of HP losses they can accumulate without the risk of becoming cripple. Whenever monsters lose HP in combat, the damage capacity decreases. When it is exhausted, the chance of getting a crippling wound increases, and being defeated means the end of a career.
Combat injuries - Monsters can get injured or seriously injured when defeated in non-lethal combat. The chance of …

We are a two-member team working on the game Darfall. The game is inspired by the classic Warcraft, but it has voxel graphics.
But sometimes we describe the game as “Don’t Starve, but City-Builder”. This is mainly due to the fact that we want to bring a lot of crafting possibilities to the game, for example a carpenter must craft a bow in order to hire an archer. The second way to get a bow for an archer is to bring “looted one” with your Hero to the base from the enemy camps.
Thus, the main task for the player is to manage the city and the Hero, who can be equipped with various equipment.

Hi there r/Games! I’m making a chaotic FPS in a constantly moving environment. Jump your way through insane levels on top of speeding trucks, trains and planes.

MEATGRINDER is a brutal and fast-paced FPS where everything is rapidly moving in an epic road chase. Fight hordes of punks in ever-changing environments and grind the meat.
This game is inspired by classic action movies like Mad Max and Matrix combined with modern shooters like Doom Eternal and Ultrakill. It’s like if Clustertruck had a baby with Duke Nukem.
I’ve also added some fresh mechanics to motivate players move fast. It can be briefly described like this:

The game is otherwise pretty solid, but good lord, some of this dialogue is just…baffling.
CRISPY CRITTERS
It’s always the first thing I mod, to the point where I honestly wish it was just a menu option in any game with inventory restrictions/weight limits. Like it can be off by default, but honestly inventory management sucks in general and wastes everyone’s time. I can’t remember a situation in all of gaming where I thought, “Damn, loving this inventory management system.”
Like in the Witcher 3, what’s the point of a weight limit? Can’t think of one. But it’s there for some reason. Cyberpunk, same thing. Would be awesome if the norm of a game could have a gameplay option to toggle realistic weight limits on/off.
