After three years of designing, coding, testing, and lots of late nights, Windward Horizon has finally launched! This project has been a huge labor of love, and I’m incredibly proud and a bit nervous about sharing it with the world.

What is Windward Horizon?

It is a naval action-adventure RPG where you captain your own ship in a massive, open world that grows as you play, designed with co-op in mind, filled with notable characters with their own stories, an RPG-like progression system, many hidden secrets, challenging encounters, and of course, plenty of sea-worthy battles.

So I was doing my usual patch note deep dive for 7.39 and just realized something that kinda blew my mind:

Morphling now seems completely unaffected by any healing reduction (like Skadi, Shiva’s, Spirit Vessel, etc.) the only things that still work are Ancient Apparition’s Ice Blast and Doom (I think?).

Like… I’ve been saying for years in my casts that “Skadi and Shiva’s are great vs Morphling”, and now I feel like a bit of a clown.

Was this already the case and I just missed it?
Is this new due to the Health Restoration formula rework?
Or maybe it’s an unintended bug?

Would love some clarification from anyone who’s looked into this more deeply.

Hey all — I’ve been tracking the recent Dota 2 updates very closely. After analyzing the massive 14,054 file update (May 27, around 2:00 UTC, plus 195-file patch (May 27, around 22:00 UTC), I’m convinced Valve is launching a real Battle Pass, not another barebones Compendium like Crownfall.

To be clear: this is not speculation based on leftover files — I extracted and reviewed the actual modified content myself.

Proof of those two updates from data miners is on the picture.

1. The same internal project — international_2024 — is being actively updated These files weren’t just present — they were modified in both patches.

Includes eventdef, eventactions, progress_mission, goal_definitions, and Panorama UI files for BP logic.

- Breakable souls rescaled from 28.5 + 2.375/min to 23 + 2.6/min
- Trooper resistance near base reduced from 40% to 35%
- Fixed a bug where Urn can be invisibly carried on the hero by throwing it in certain areas like the air vents
- Fixed Neutrals near the base gaining the “near base” trooper resist

Just wanted to pop on here real quick and remind people to pay attention to the enemy’s ammo. A lot of the time people will go for a melee after they run out of ammo, and I was accused of macro’ing after parrying a Haze’s light melee. I preemptively parried as she was about to empty her clip and it landed. Just something to consider.
