I’ve been given so many high profile (and often high priced) games from Epic that nowadays before buying one on Steam I check if I already have it on the EGS. But the thing is, I’ve never, ever thought of buying games on there, I don’t even have the launcher installed, I play on Deck and I install them through Heroic, they make absolutely no return whatsoever from me, and I can’t be the only one just getting the games, installing them, and using all of his money on Steam, so after I got Tiny Tina’s Wonderland (60 bucks) for free just now, I got wondering: are they just tossing away money? Has anyone switched from Steam to Epic permanently due to their big EGS library built for free? Is this strategy working?
I’ve been making games here and there just for fun as a hobby, but I wanted to get ideas from other people. I’d like to see what the gaming community would like to see made? What kind of game would you want to see on the steam store?

Hi everyone! We just uploaded the demo for our incremental tower defense game Outhold on Steam.
In typical incremental game fashion, you start a run, fail miserably, spend your earned resources to buy some upgrades, and try again. What we’re aiming for as a core design principle however is to make sure there is meaningful build variety to explore in the upgrade tree. To allow you to experiment freely, we let you respec your entire tree between runs.
The demo features about 30-45 minutes of gameplay across the 3 available levels. We hope you give it a try, and share you opinion about it with us!

As of May 29th, There are about the same number of players in Immortal as there are in Archon 1. What’s more interesting is Ancient V representing the lowest number of players right after herald I.
What do you guys think of this? Should Valve reset mmr or introduce new medals?

I went from oracle 3 to archon in this most recent patch where cultist sacrifice was nerfed from 40% fire rate to 10%.
it was 999 / 500, and i knew for sure, the 1000 game gonna be losing game
Deadlock was my first serious hero shooter.
I played Overwatch, but at the time had zero sense of game meta, how there is more strat than holding W and LMB, counters, team-ups, etc.
I got into Deadlock for like… 3 months non-stop like 40+ hours a week and had to uninstall to focus on my school studies… then Marvel Rivals came out.
I have genuinely been unable to put Marvel Rivals down for any other game until my friends begged me for a game of Deadlock.
I want to say all my skirmishing in Marvel Rivals trained my skills and aiming because of how fast paced the game can be, because coming back to Deadlock??? Dogfights feel incredible now.
Deadlock has a lot more micro objectives and farming to slow down the pace of the game, but damn it feels fun when it’s time to have a bloodbath over an urn or defending a walker. Both games seem to have different pacings, but the feeling of working together with your team is far more satisfying in Deadlock. It also feels good …
