I started making this game in 2010 as something I could play with my kids.
That was a while ago. My kids are all (mostly) grown up now. 😄
But we had a lot of fun with the game over the years, especially the 4-player couch co-op. I kept tinkering with it, adding things, changing things, and generally never quite finishing it. I eventually put it on Steam Early Access in 2022.
Now, after all these years, I’m finally calling it done and releasing it for free.
The game is basically a combination of classic 16-bit platforming and a Carmen Sandiego-style mystery with a Scooby-Doo vibe. You travel to real-world locations, investigate suspects, collect clues, and try to solve the case. The mysteries and levels are procedurally generated, so it’s pretty replayable.
I originally sold it on Steam, but at this point I’m not really trying to make money from it. I’d just like people to play it. So I figured, why not give it away?
