A few people, albeit very few, have either misunderstood the accessibility options we are trying, or have only seen the video without actually trying them out in the demo play.
We have “multiple types of color vision options” for players with different color vision, not just one pattern. In addition to that, there is also a brightness adjustment for effects, and an overall brightness adjustment, and with those, there is quite a range of adjustment. On top of that, we have never claimed or publicized that these options cover all players’ color vision (although it has been talked about by a favorable community as a result).
These color vision options are a rare part of the fighting game genre, but they are still being researched and we intend to expand on them in the future. Currently, we have received positive feedback …

I don’t mind the mechanic, but you don’t just drop dead if you don’t drink water for 30 mins. That’s ridiculous, but that’s how most games with eating/drinking mechanics seem to work.
You should start acting sluggish after like a full day cycle, but even then you wouldn’t just drop dead once a meter runs out. It should take a very long time to starve to death in a game, and maybe like 2 or 3 days to die of thirst, with increasing movement penalties or something leading up to it.
I find these mechanics to be incredibly annoying and immersion breaking, and you cant really say “it doesn’t have to be realistic” because these are generally games built entirely around incredibly detailed realism in just about every possible way.
Your best guess: Will Bethesda build on Starfield and make it its own IP in the future, like TES?
Will they make many more Starfields or do you think Bethesda will abandon this idea and let it die?
