I’m sorry, but you’d be forgiven for thinking this was a companies first-ever foray into the world of releasing a product.

Here’s a list off the top of my head:

• Delayed launch
• Nonsense comparisons to previous generations
• Severe stock issues
• Melting cables
• Pulling 5070 FE hours before launch
• Woeful 5070 performance

Ones I forgot:

• Missing ROP’s
• Black screen driver issue

I mean, holy fuck, what a disaster!

And the only saving grace for Nvidia is they have positioned themselves with such a comfortable margin in marketshare that it literally doesn’t matter if tens of thousands of people switch to AMD.

And you know the thing that really pisses me off? We were disappointed with the 4 series, we wanted to wait for the 5, and now it turns out that the 5070 is literally going toe-to-toe with the 4070 Super, released a year ago for broadly the same price.

So I could’ve had the thing I was waiting for, over a year ago, for a mere £40 more.

The ray tracing performance of the 9070 XT has made great progress. This is a 4K benchmark, so it’s obviously very demanding, but at 1440p (with some upscaling) the average RT performance is around 70 FPS, making it actually playable now.

I know many people don’t care about ray tracing, especially at this price tier, and that’s fine. But the fact that RT is now viable in the mid-to-high-end range is useful, especially as ray tracing is becoming a standard feature in most games.

I have only tried this in Archon, but I’d imagine it works in lower brackets too. Genuinely surprised how well it works. don’t think it would work in legend+ tho.

FIRSTLY, be super nice and chill to the enemy all game (your team too) whilst playing well. compliment them in all chat and be like damn ur good Slark, epic kill Mirana, etc. get the enemies to not hate u and think ur a chill girl/guy and not overly tryhard. stroke the enemies egos and make them feel like hero’s who control the game and have all the power (even if they aren’t that great) don’t overdo it tho.

THEN, figure out which guy on the enemy team is their weak link, whether that be from feeding, buying dumbass items, playing sniper, etc. after he does something stupid say in all chat something along the lines of “Mirana ur kicking ass I’m sorry that sniper is griefing you”. Proceed to continue complimenting everyone BUT sniper and point out that he is really bad and doesn’t deserve to be carried by the rest of the …

His last recorded game was the grand final against Chimera at ESL qualifier, which was also almost 2 months ago. Nigma is participating in PGL Wallachia which is starting in 2 days, and this is not a good sign if Miracle is playing this time

I noticed the old minimap burned into my oled monitor.

What if a train could cut across the deadlock map, causing map zoning and chaos? It could pass over top mid and under the overpass towards yellow. Can the train stop and block a lane? Who knows?? the possibilities are endless!

Doing Midboss? Trying to kill the Weakened Patron? Stand in the GREEN CIRCLE to kill them faster and give the enemy no chance to react!!

Game is actually in a pretty good state post the last patch. I put the hours in. Ya’ll need to adapt.

Wait, enemy 7 is farming his ass off? go invade him, get on the mic, call things to your team, and thank him for dropping a 1k bag.

Wait, enemy is pushing that last walker?? Well go do something about it instead of punching bags for 20 minutes.

Game is closest to a moba that it has ever been. Team coordination is more pronounced than ever.

From Deadlock to Marvel Rivals, the first comment I have is the lack of movement and how every game of Rivals is quite predictable, and I think I’ve had my fun with Rivals and looking for another competitive game to play but all I see in this subreddit is quite negative, so not sure if I should get back or not.
