Generally speaking if I get >50% through a game I’ll almost always finish it, unless I hit a bullshit road block or life gets in the way for some reason. Two notable examples:
- My save for Oddworld New n Nasty got glitched by a release day bug so I was unable to play the final 10-15 minutes of the game and just watched the end on YouTube.
- Currently I’m about 80% of the way through The Alters but the survival stuff is finally starting to wear me down and I’m not sure if I can be bothered to reload an earlier save to get my characters out of a hole. I very nearly quit during Act 2 when I spent a few hours reloading saves to brute-force my way through, but I just about made it. In Act 3 I’m really losing the will to keep playing. I’ve enjoyed playing it on Game Pass but I also think maybe I’m ready to move on and start Death Stranding 2 rather than put myself through another 5-10 hours of this.

Many developers set a price for their game in one currency and let Steam do the rest - it’s fast, easy and convenient. There’s a serious caveat, though - Valve has promised to update the recommended prices annually, but they forgot about it entirely.
The last change for most currencies was in October 2022 - during lockdown periods, when some currencies fluctuated more than other. This leads to some countries being at huge disadvantage.
In the steam discussions, you can usually see mentions of incorrect pricing for Brasil and Poland. There was some talk about localising prices for Brasil so let’s focus on Poland.

its so unfun and toxic to play against shaman. if you dont have 2 things in lane to cancel his shackle, good luck at laning. you can never show on waves with his 10sec perma stun, his ult clears any tower without a chance of defending, he can even solo rosh before ursa would even be able to. he also gets the easiest ganks on midlane or the other side lane with portal.
and even in lategame, if you dont somehow 1 shot him in your 6sec bkb duration (unlucky he has a free aeon disk) you just get chainstunned for 10 sec with 4 sec downtime from 5 screens away.

Been playing dota for 10 years now. I am in no way a good player, i just play to have fun with friends and a few games a day to scratch my itch.
I’ve been playing since i was 15, back then i had loads of friends to play with. At any given time there was around 5 friends online playing dota, so having someone to play with was fun. But currently going into adulthood where we have commitments and jobs of our own, one by one each of my friends start to stop dota as it was time consuming, one game could last for 40 mins -1 hour.
But recently i tried turbo and holy shit was it fun. I pursuaded few of my friends to try turbo, they were hesitant at first but after doing so, slowly they fell in love with the game again. Games were 20 mins-30 mins max. The difference was when you were losing bad, the enemy can end the game in 15 mins which wasnt really an issue as we could just queue next. In normal games, even when losing, games would drag to 30-40 mins. Even a windfall game would be …

Metro constantly leaves games, berating teammates, yelling at his own chat(if you mention something he doesn’t like you’re banned). I get twitch has their own policies but why is this guy even allowed to play this game still? The narcissism and unwillingness to admit fault is just embarrassing, especially as someone who projects his personality onto the internet everyday. The only “#1 player” i’ve seen drop 20 deaths in a game.
Fun fact, he doesn’t seem to have any E6 accounts left after deranking them all (he got them to E6 to begin with by duo queuing with good players when ranked was a thing). The highest I can find is the one he left on PoopyPants which is E3.

The Death Slam Tournament has a simple vision: allow the average Deadlock players to get an experience that is better than matchmaking. I see two major complaints with Deadlock often on my stream and video chats: matchmaking sucks, and we need draft. Well, until Valve gives us these things - we have to take action into our hands.
This tournament is meant to accommodate those with a 9-5 job or family or other responsibilities - no crazy commitment required. The teams of this tournament will have the chance to be coached by myself and poshypop (high level NA player that plays for the team Melee Creeps) completely …

I am so fed up with people letting waves of minions into their towers and giving up map pressure for free so they can finish punching a slot machine or farming a jungle camp or punch some boxes. The entire point of pushing waves is to have map pressure so that you can more freely farm the jungle and rotate safely (and get towers when the other team doesn’t clear waves). The jungle camps will still be there after you clear the wave, I pinky promise. The waves and towers will not still be there after the jungle camp if you keep ignoring them. You’re giving up map pressure, farm from the waves, and flex slots from the other team pushing for free. For what? A few hundred souls from that camp? And this is not only an early game thing. Prioritize map pressure for the ENTIRE game.
