Holy hell I need to vent about this game. Treant ended up buying 4 rapiers and killing creeps from afar with his scepter. He ended up basically covering the map with this and would farm all the creeps whenever his ultimate was up. Then got the T5 Book of the Dead neutral item and destroyed sentries, so we could neither detect him nor his trees. To top it off, Dark Seer was spamming Ion Shells on his creeps which meant every lane was permanently pushed out. What a miserable game.
So it’s not a huge sample size, but I’m 12-0 with him in mid divine games. I’m maxing hunger first every single game and absolutely dominating. The power spike when you have phase boots, blade mail and shard allows you to stack so much damage on a 5 second CD. The best part about the build is you feel less like a useless creep without your blink dagger, and rely less on ancient stacks to farm, because you can lane longer and contest the enemy support and carry harder. Basically no hero can withstand hunger into taunt (which applies hunger) into a 3rd hunger. It’s over 100 dps and a massive slow. The nice thing too is that if you have a bad lane, you can just start leveling spin and go jungle as normal if needed.

Patch 7.38 has shipped with a few hidden item changes, which gives us some insight to balancing ideas that Valve has considered, but ultimately scrapped for now.
These ideas might re-appear in the future, as was the case with a scrapped return of Diffusal Blade II which eventually turned into Disperser.
The scrapped Tormentor item seems especially over-powered, but feel free to see for yourselves :)

It seems that Khanda was supposed to land on the chopping block (as in get removed from the game), but barely made it out alive. Why do I think this is the case?

I started playing dota when it came out on steam and thought to myself, everyone has a reason to play a certain hero. I loved veno bc you could stack slow endlessly and he looked green and fun. What were your reasons?
Increase his cooldowns, don’t let him move in his ult, let him lose stacks of bombs, I don’t care what just please do SOMETHING. This man does too much with too little consequence and I’m so tired of playing against him every single match.
