The author is a believer, clearly this means only believers get jobs. (Ignore the fact that this is a sample size of one, that multiple articles spouting doubter drovel have been posted, and that I have no proof that doubters have no jobs)
If you like pixelated boomer shooters mixed with cyberpunk, this is for you. The guns are awesome, the chainsaw leg is awesome. Plus it’s got some good humor and one-liners.
Forever Alone Night Stalker— he has a hard time dating anyone… Even single mothers…
It’s amazing how some spells are technically meant to help your team, but somehow manage to do the complete opposite in the wrong hands. Friendly fire doesn’t exist in Dota, but this spell sure feels like it does.
There’s a reason the military spends time and resources on boosting soldier morale — because a motivated team performs better than a broken one. Same goes for your ranked team.
I’ve played enough games to confidently say: Your words can shift the entire energy of a match.
It’s not about being fake or overly positive — it’s about understanding that tone, timing, and the way you speak to others can make people either shut down… or lock in.
⸻
Some real examples: • “Unlucky, we got this next one” vs “are you brain dead?” → One resets their mental, the other buries it. • “Try grouping next fight, we win those” → Sounds like a teammate. “Stop feeding and play like a human” → Sounds like the reason we lose. • “Nice try bro” after a missed play → Encouragement leads to recovery. Mocking = tilt spiral.

Morale = performance
If your team feels like trash, they’ll play like it. If they feel like the game’s still winnable, they’ll try harder. Simple.
You ever notice how one kind …
I apologise if I word this badly.
So basically, I think the reason we are in a gun meta is not because gun items are overpowered. If this was the case, Vyper would be running the show. To use Infernus as an example, notice how his Afterburn does as much damage as his gun damage in the post game stats screen. If gun items were as ridiculously overpowered as we make them out to be, it should be the case that his gun damage (that he spent 20k on) should be massively out damaging his abilities.
The problem in my head is that the characters that are building gun have really strong abilities without having to build spirit for them(Especially now that all characters gain spirit through boons). I don’t think that building spirit is bad, Pocket is still a very relevant character even if he does fall off later in the game.
It’s the fact that there is very little incentive for the characters that are building Gun to build Spirit instead, since Gun scales better and by the time …
As most of you probably know, in the current meta, gun characters scale much better than spirit characters for a variety of reasons—no diminishing returns on firerate, vitality items giving significantly more gun stats than spirit stats, APR countering bullet resist, and so on. As a result, gun characters tend to be much stronger in the late game compared to spirit characters—barring a few exceptions, of course. Now, some people argue that this is totally fine because “gun characters are weaker in the early game anyway.” But… that’s not really true.
If we look at the characters currently being built as gun characters, we have: - Bebop - Haze - Infernus - Ivy - Lady Geist (yes, her gun build is very meta and incredibly strong at high ranks) - Ginnis - Shiv - Warden - Wraith - Mirage - Vyper Unless I’m missing someone, these are the main characters with strong gun builds that also scale hard into the late game—so much so that you can legitimately call them hyper carries.
Now let’s ask: …
