Dear Skongers, as we all know we had a debate about sacrificing 3 of our honorable members u/TomNook5085, u/FoxyCantPost and u/Present-Drink-9301 as Dreamers that are now banned until Silksong releases.

And that sacrifice was quite fruitful, since just some hours after that we have gotten another Silksong related information in form of an Reel from the AMCI event with a Hornet plushie.

But this sacrifice wasn’t fruitful enough, since we didn’t got more actual information about the game itself.

Which means we need even more power and should sacrifice someone as the Hollow Knight.

And who are the most powerful people in this very Subreddit?

So I am making this petition to decide which one of our mods shall be sacrificed as well, so we gain so much more power!

Follow-up to my previous post made some hours ago.
We finally reached the 1M signs goal! Huge thanks who signed and/or commented in my last post.

As some users pointed out in the post comment section (thank you u/BriochesBreaker, u/s0ftcustomer, u/ProfessionalPeak1592 and u/Adrian_Shepard_HL-OP), we should still continue to sign the petition to avoid getting lower the signature goal after the non-legit signature check and elimination.

When I first posted the petition, I didn’t think it would actually happen—I can’t believe I actually have a role in one of my favorite communities of all time. I’d like to thank the community for the support, the mods for making it happen, and of course a special thanks to my fellow dreamers, it’s through their sacrifice that skong remains eternal. To those of you reading, remember this: to never give up hope. No matter how silent team cherry is, no matter how many doubters there are, no matter how many years we eagerly wait as we descend into silksanity, you have to hold onto it—the hope that unites us all. As many of you already know, Unknown Worlds’ CEO Ted Gill, Subnautica creator/director Charlie Cleveland, and technical director Max McGuire were fired “effective immediately” on July 2, 2025, only months before Subnautica 2 is supposed to hit Early Access. Krafton has already parachuted in former Dead Space / Callisto Protocol producer Steve Papoutsis to run the studio.

Krafton’s press release frames this as “bringing renewed momentum,” but reporting suggests the trio were pushing for more development time and resisted shipping an unfinished game. Pressure the publisher clearly didn’t appreciate.

If we shrug this off, we’re telling publishers it’s fine to axe the very people who built the games we love the moment they put quality ahead of quarterly targets. That’s a precedent no player should accept.

Most people missed this, but the timing of Xbox’s massive layoffs yesterday is absolutely no coincidence. Here’s what happened:

• July 1, 2025: Senate passes “One Big Beautiful Bill” with 100% R&D tax deduction
• July 2, 2025: Xbox cancels Perfect Dark, Everwild, ZeniMax MMORPG, fires thousands

This isn’t just corporate greed. This is strategic tax optimization disguised as “restructuring.”

The Tax Scam Explained

Under the old system (since 2022), Microsoft had to spread R&D deductions over 5 years. So if they spent $500M on Perfect Dark over 7 years, they could only deduct $100M per year.

But the new law changes everything. Now they can deduct the ENTIRE amount immediately in 2025.

There’s a lot of great things about the patch, the 8 new characters are super fun and way more balanced than the last 4 released (obviously Trappers 3 is bugged but that’ll get fixed soon) the gun rebalance and all the new spirit scaling items have been a great addition (Majestic Missile my beloved)

Also I don’t know why no one’s talking about this, but the change to make the game 3.5 lanes feels like such an obvious improvement, its really fixed the flow of matches. They obviously should have implemented this sooner.

However Draft is where I have a problem

People are already so toxic with it, my last game our last picker only played Haze, Wraith and Seven, and when wraith and seven were picked he took haze who is bad in the new spirit meta.

This wouldn’t be too bad but one of the other players flamed them all game for not picking a tank. He called them a racial slur for each letter of the alphabet, which I would have found impressive if the …
