Hi, r/Games !
Want to try new turn-based tactical game inspired by great projects like XCOM, Resident Evil, SCP and Control? Registration is opened now! And if you know Guiltythree - he created the plot of the game ;)
Some intro info about the game:
A distress call is received from a top-secret research station in Antarctica, and then all communications are completely cut off. The final official report contained only scraps of information:
…experiment #347 has reached critical parameters… …transportation of the sample from Sector D to████████████… …stability indicators are dropping… …WARNING… …containment conditions have been breached… …personnel evacuated from Levels 6 to 9… …OH GOD, █████████ IS REAL… …TIME CAN ████… …IT’S NOT A VACUUM, IT’S WATCHING US…
Your squad’s mission is to reach ICE-1 …
I grabbed a couple of titles, not sure if I’ll be picking up anything else yet. I got
Most of these were on my wishlist so seeing how big a sale some of these went for, it felt like a good time.
What about you? Any suggestions?
Dungeon Raid is my first game, and I made it entirely on my own. No studio, no team. Just one person who finally decided to stop waiting and start creating.

It all started when I dropped out of university. I felt like I was stuck in something that wasn’t mine. To make ends meet, I took two jobs - one by day, another by night. But when the world quieted down, I’d fire up my computer and get to work on my dream. Dungeon Raid was built during those late-night hours: step by step, day by day, week by week.
I had no experience in game development. Every mistake was mine, but so were every small success and breakthrough. In the beginning, nothing worked. But then, something simple clicked. A card system. Then an inventory system. Slowly, the game began to take shape.
There were moments I wanted to give up. When it seemed like nothing was going to work. But I kept going. …
I’m a solo indie dev and right now I’m fully focused on the damage and battle systems, so expect an updated trailer soon!
What’s the game about?
In the first release, you’ll be able to build your own fleet with ships tailored for different strategies and tasks. There will be online battles with other players and regattas. In regatta mode, shooting is disabled — so anything unnecessary goes overboard!
Each battle or race earns you experience and gold. You can upgrade hulls, sails, cannons, and equipment. So, if a cannon was too heavy for your ship at first, upgrades will open up more options and expand your ship’s capabilities over time.
The trailer is available on Youtube.
After months of hard and focused work, I finally submitted the build of my game Motel Nightmares to Steam. Now I’m eagerly waiting for it to be approved so things can start rolling! The DEMO version will be about 10 minutes long and is expected to arrive in mid-July.
Thank you so much if you add it to your wishlist — it really helps a lot!

Common troubleshooting steps:
so recently i found this game that i havent played in like over 12-13 years
its a really old one called harold’s hills
its from the creator of icy tower and after i looked it up there are only 2 videos on it.
do you know this one?
if so whats your high score?
im dying to see if anyone els knows this
Kind of interested since I saw one somewhere and was thinking to find some more in stores and etc.
Edit: Or Ubisoft / Origin key
It was released with +25 armor and 0 mana cost for cooldown refresh, then got nerfed to +20 armor and 350 mana cost, and eventually removed. I miss those days of buying Aeon Disk with this item as a support, lol.
The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.
CM creates a bathtub and bathes in it. Enemies looking at her for too long will be mesmerized and stunned for X seconds. Continuously grants mana to allies until the bath water is drained
The game feels way more complicated than Deadlock. Can someone explain how Dota 2 works in a way that makes sense to someone coming from Deadlock? Like what the general flow of a match is, what roles I should know about, what to focus on learning first, etc.
I’ve played Dota for 9 years and am between divine/immortal and often times I find it interesting when watching people play pro Dota. Isn’t it better just to break puck coil other than standing there for what feels like an eternity most of the time? You break it, does damage but you can get away faster.
I don’t do it every time, but if I’m trying to just get away I’ll break it purposefully.
Hello, just came into possession of this. I know it was some type of commemorative coin for the 2017 convention, but was this something you needed to buy or was it given out? Thanks
Does valve still care about matchfixing? I just watched a tier3/4 player throw a game at pro level [Destiny League S34]. It’s damn 2025, yet we still have 322s at this level of the game? The player went from being unkillable (13-15 kills with 0 deaths) to playing like a day-old player. The match happened today (game 1 of the series, as Shadow Fied), his IGN is NP.reneemartin and he’s playing for Nova Pulse.
Not saying the game is perfect but after playing around 20 games the game feels a lot better than previously, of course nothing is ever perfect, but this is a very solid move in the right direction.
Thanks to the deadlock team for your hard work.
