One more update in steamdb (it already hurts it is only a change number)
Leth needs to stop working so hard I worry about his health :(
After a launch that led to a Mixed rating on Steam it is now sitting at Very Positive. Since launch FromSoftware has also added some extra hard bosses on a rotation basis as well as some QoL features.
What do you think of the gameplay? The rain and expedition mechanics as well as boss fights?
What are your thoughts on the multiplayer aspect? Have FromSoftware finally done multiplayer right in soulsborne games?
Overall, what are your thoughts on the game? What works? What needs improvement? Is there potential for live service despite it not being one?
Na’Vi vs. Alliance in TI3 is still top and what got me into the game. Seeing EG (RIP) win TI5 in person in Seattle is definitely right up there.
What’s the most annoying spell for you?
Wyk just posted something and I’m quite thinking what’s the need of this reflection on the lower right part of the logo? Doesn’t seem to fit the image. ARE THOSE THE EYES OF OUR NEW HERO???? I know, I might be high on copium again but man, you know how they play us.
Hi everyone!
I wasn’t sure if I ever wanted to post, but my daughter has been urging me to try connecting and sharing with the older players in Dota2. So now that I’ve hit a milestone that I never ever thought I would. I’m just gonna try this for the fun of it, to see if there are any other older (or younger players) who shares the same love for the game as me!
I’ve been playing Dota 2 for 13 years now, 5 more if I also add in the fun times I had playing Dota 1 back in the days on WC3. Dota 2 had been the only 1 real game that I consistently played in the last 20 years of gaming as an adult, and really only took a 1-2 year break when my precious daughter was born 10 years back (you know, new-parent duties).
After hovering in Ancient to low divine for years on random roles, i made the decision since 2024 to really start grinding the MMR hell, just to see how high I could climb. I don’t think I’m mechanically fantastic at the game but having …
Beat “S-Tier” teams 7 times in a row… still bots. 💀
At the current state and statistics of finals of Fissure and current group series I think Dukalis do regret calling Saberlight a bot. It’s unprofessional behaviour. Before it happened Paravision had some sort of unbeatable aura. At the moment, it seems like it’s just a team of clowns.
On the other note, in 1,5h+ interview NoOne called Satanic entering the team as “little fuck” (rough translation e.g. implying that Satanic had a lot of misbehaviour moments at the start). And from psychological point of view it proves me that people believe their own narratives.
What’s your thought on Liquid vs Parivision dynamic?
I honestly don’t understand Valve’s current business strategy with Dota 2.
Back in the day, when most of us were students, broke, and could barely afford cosmetics, Valve was rolling out battle passes, arcanas and they made millions. The urge to spend was there, even if the wallet said no.
Now, a lot of that player base has grown up, have decent jobs, and finally have some disposable income.., but Valve has basically stopped doing what used to print money.
Or… is my assumption on the player demographic just wrong?
And yes I’m begging to be ripped off.
please Valve PLEASE
I made minimap icon of each heroes, into 32px pixel style(same as minimap icon in Dota2)
inspired by u/uglycoal ’s work.
I originally mained her during the launch of the game… where she was one of the worst heroes. But now that she’s good, how’s she as a Support? In fact what is the best support hero in Deadlock currently? And addionally what makes McGinnis so good currently?
Hey everyone, I’ve been noticing a growing trend lately where players are obsessed with farming troopers and jungle camps—but completely ignore lane and map objectives. It’s reached the point where games feel stale, even when we’re winning.
Still only ranked up three times from this, 41 games 35 wins with seven
