Obviously theres been great one liners from legendary game franchises. From “What is a man? A Miserable little pile of secrets!” from Castlevania, “were it so easy” from Halo 3, “War never changes” from Fallout, Paarthurnax’s speech from Skyrim on overcoming evil and so many more.
But what about bad/average games? Since trash games receive little recognition, often some of the better parts may be overlooked. Sometimes amongst all the garbage you get a single shining gem. A line that sticks with you even when you forget the rest of the game.
For me my pick is from an old RPG game on the OG Xbox called Sudeki. In the final battle the villain Talos mocks the protagonist Tal. Talos tells Tal that he killed his brother. Talos tells Tal that his brother cried Tals name as he died. Tal retorts and asks Talos who will cry his name when he dies and then Talos drops this banger of a line.

I’m the developer of WalkScape, a MMORPG that aims to improve the physical and mental health of players. I’ve been developing the game for two years now.
The project got started when I was looking for something that would help me to motivate myself to walk more. I have ADHD, and finding the motivation to be active is difficult to me. This is where my brain went to combining RuneScape with walking, and so the project was started.
The game is currently in Closed Beta. You can apply by following these instructions, or gain immediate access by supporting the development. The development of the game is completely funded by the community, and there will be no microtransactions, ads, etc.
The game doesn’t use GPS, but instead uses the pedometer. You don’t need to have the game open while you exercise, it can be entirely closed and you open it up when it suits you best. We’ve aimed to keep it as non-distracting as possible.

The largest gaming resource in the world, IGN, is no longer accessible to residents of Russia, Belarus, and several other countries. The site How Long To Beat has also been blocked, with the information officially confirmed by one of the moderators on the forum.
The decision to block access was made by the parent company Ziff Davis, which owns several specialized information resources, including Eurogamer, GamesIndustry.biz, and Rock Paper Shotgun. The moderator apologized to fans for the situation, noting that “the legal team forced the block on all traffic.”
Currently, the IGN website returns a 403 error when trying to access it from a Russian IP. Additionally, How Long To Beat is also inaccessible, but other resources from the company remain available.

I kinda want to make a queue of games I,want to play. With physical releases it’s fairly easy, as you just make a physical queue. But I don’t know about anything for steam/other digital games (aside from adding them to favourites).
I’ve thought of:
1) Installing games to SD-cards (ideally without the need for launching via steam), and queueing physically
2) Writing a list (but that can’t be rearranged easily)
3) ???
From everything I’ve read about keyboards it seems like the modern keyboard itself is pretty bad as a technology when it comes to actually capturing and recording user input in real time. It seems like most of the actual time “wasted” in actuating keypresses isn’t based on the users reaction time at all, but the travel time of the key.
Said differently, I feel like the delay between pressing a key, and something in game actually happening doesn’t reflect poorly on the reaction of the gamer, but instead reflects poorly on the quality of keyboards in general.
You react instantly, but your keyboard doesn’t engage until 5-10 ms later?
Now that we actually have the technology, why is something like SOCD not being fully embraced to push the keyboard standard higher to reflect actual user input time and reflect true skill?
Hey all, so to be honest around seven years ago when I was 11-12 years old I got VAC banned from CS:GO due to cheats, and yes it was me! Being a little edgy teenager watching YouTube I decided to use ESP on casual match and got banned. However, after this I decided “Well can’t play CS anymore I want to play MW2” So I loaded up MW2 just to play and got thrown into a modded lobby which led to me getting a game ban even though I wasn’t cheating (this time). This was all roughly 2300 days ago and I never really let the red text on my profile bother me.
Until now, for some reason, it has begun to bug me but my account is almost 12 years old and has tons of money invested into it in the form of games & DLC and just achievements and time spent. While reading online about the VAC ban going away after seven years I got excited but realized since I have the game ban I’m stuck with both on my account forever.
