I doubt this will get much attention. I’ll be using everyone’s gamer tags instead of names. In 2022 I played Dauntless with my buddy Quivive. Around that time I was really into rocket league. I log into dauntless one day and Quivive says “hey I found someone who also plays rocket league lets run some hunts together”. That was when I met InfinityFuse. His favorite dog is a corgi and was his profile picture for everything. From that point we three played almost every day after work or when we had some free time. For 2 whole years we were in voice calls playing every new game or random steam game we could find. He even drove to my state and visited me and Quivive in person for 2 days.

Fast forward to 2024 fuse tells me he thinks games are messing with his life, like he’s wasting it playing games. He desires to do something in the world that is meaningful. Glib “Funn1k” Lipatnikov got banned from my workplace in Dublin (internetcafe) by my boss , and he is blaming me for it. It is very pathetic like dude you came here and started to act like you run place. He would put password on a pc , leave his clothes laid out on chairs annoying other costumers about going to casino.

Now recently he just comes in just to throw abuse and threats. Hopefully this gets his friends or family before this city eats him alive.

Parivision has been eliminated by Team Spirit 0-2 in an amazing thrilling series. They no doubt came in wanting to win the whole thing but that will no longer be possible.

Since this tournament has a dogshit format however, you will be seeing Parivision one more time when they play the series to decide the 3rd place team.

Can we please at least just get a hint or a teaser or anything about what we can expect as TI is just around the corner now.

Yeah, a lot can be said about TI’s spectacle dropping over the years, but there’s something about watching EWC that makes me feel sad.

EWC just feels a little… hollow?

It’s not just that the crowd is meager. I couldn’t put my finger on it until I watched the Falcons vs Liquid series, and I could hear constant Falcons chants in the background. They chanted constantly, and it didn’t seem to be in response to anything happening in the game. The chants didn’t really adjust to any cool plays or map movements, which made it feel like they were probably chants from teammates and staff, rather than an audience of Dota players or actual Dota enjoyers. And whenever the camera showed the audience, you didn’t really see random Dota merch or weird signs referring to old Dota drama or memes.

Somehow, having a live audience that seems disinterested in Dota was worse than not having an audience at all. If it was just a small studio tournament, …

Someone in my house recently got a Nequi debit card, which came with some promotional papers, but one of the images was really familiar.
