I absolutely love Escape from Tarkov. The tension, realism, and the rush when you survive a raid nothing beats it. But I’d never recommend it to a friend unless they enjoy suffering. The learning curve is brutal, the UI is messy, and the game punishes you hard for small mistakes. You either fall in love with it or uninstall it in frustration.
I made a map of dota 2, it’s almost finished but I don’t have any need for it anymore, and I need to sell it to someone who wants to continue and finish it
Man it’s so easy being a functional member of society that doesn’t start inting the exact milisecond i get slightly angry because i can control my emotions.
I remember a guy that insulted me, i muted only him and communicated with the rest of my team in a healthy way.
There was another person that was inting my game, it’s a good thing i kept playing instead of typing every single racial slur i have in my lexicon at the same time.
Behavior score works just fine, stop coping a learn to behave like a normal person.
EDIT:
So, this thing got heated and a lot of points got brought up, i will answer some of them here:
1) “I went afk once and got to 8k” No you didn’t leaving a game once only punishes you with a timeout at first.
2) “You never where in 10k/9k/8k so you don’t know what you are talking about” …
As someone suggested in my last post, I went full anonymous mode to gain points at a faster rate.
This meant I turned off all pings. No chat wheel, no voice lines, no player names, nothing. Soulless.
Over 15 games (report period), 0 reports, 20 commends. From my understanding this is the maximum you can get points wise, zero reports 20 commends (capped).
Communication Score went from 6051 > 6191 (= +150)
So for 15 perfect turbo games = +150 points (max points)
To reach 10,000 score, I need 3,809 points
3,809 / 150 = 25 report periods (x15 games)
So = 380 perfect games, with 20 commends and 0 reports to get to 10k behavior
If you receive 3 reports (even from 1 player) in any of those 15 games, you will lose behavior score.
This game isn’t dead, it just no longer has any soul to it…
Not sure if anyone else has suggested this, but I think it would be really cool if the process for drafting started with a bunch of hooded figures like pictured, maybe some larger and smaller to fit the character profiles. Every time a character is chosen, the patron announces their choice for the ritual, and that character will emerge from the crowd into a spotlight on their team’s side with some unique animation for revealing themselves. I’m guessing draft would at least be required for the pro scene (if not also ranked), and I think it would really feed into the cult/ritual atmosphere.
I’m smoking crack I know, but what if?
People seemed to like the design I made the other day so here it is again and this time I tried out a different shading style.
