Annoyingly, just as I was about to draft this, the mod team already addressed not spoiling people, but this isn’t just on reddit. Everything. Don’t tell your friends, don’t make youtube videos with revealing thumbnails, don’t use twitter in the first place. A lot of us want to go in spoiler free, so please allow us to do that.
EDIT: WOW 1.8k upvotes? I cant believe this. tysm!!! :)
Btw by (Rules will get stricter) we mean that the rule checking in the cases of spoiler tags and such about Silksong’s story and gameplay will be harder, since we do not want to ruin the fun for anyone in the community who is trying to discover Pharloom by themselves.
About the new flairs, their names might change after the game is out since right now we are only guessing the names of the crests that are not the Wild Crest or the Reaper Crest.
I always thought we were just waiting for it to release I didn’t think people were actually wanting to play it
The day before release, and the day before the rules become much stricter, all local sub rules all suspended. Silkposts tagged as news, release dates tagged as silkposts. Complete madness. One last chance to celebrate the insanity of this sub and the culture that has formed along the way.
I feel pity for your kind, beliers

You will also explore real Japanese towns during your adventure and learn about Japan’s culture and history.

Hey everyone, happy to share the announcement of my new game MONOMOON.
It is a small open world “Metroidbrainia” with layers of secrets, ranging from simple puzzles to cryptic mysteries and hidden game mechanics. The player is controlled by the keyboard and the moon is controlled by the mouse like a cursor, but we will also support controllers.
This announcement was kinda stressful for me as our previous game (Spiritfall, which I posted about a few times in this sub) is very different from this one. But fortunately it seems like the reception from our existing players is positive so far.
I’d be happy to hear from more people, so please let me know what you think or if you have any questions :)
Cheers
I am currently working on a WW2-era game with a twist: In Ground of Aces, you don’t concern yourself much with wartime-strategy. Much rather, you have to build and maintain an airbase and its infrastructure from scratch, all while keeping crew morale afloat throughout the pressure of war. The game boasts an art style inspired by Franco-Belgian comics and combines this art style with my love for aviation.
Two years ago, we launched a successful Kickstarter campaign which ended up netting more than 120k USD. We are more than excited to show you the fruits of two years of development and feedback from our loyal Alpha testers. The game just launched into Early Access last month! Accordingly, we are super excited to share our baby with the world.
If you’re interested in further development of the game, please check out the following:

You might have read or seen the name “Toree 3D” floating around some years ago. You may even have played other games by the developer, such as Super Kiwi 64, Beeny 3D and other such games.
Now comes the latest in the Toree series, Toree Saturn! With even better controls, faster-paced gameplay, bright and colourful environments as well as an absolutely banger of a soundtrack, Toree Saturn is a great game for you regardless if you want to play it casually or sweating it out.

Launched on the 8th of August of 2025, 2 days ago! Get it on either Steam or Switch!
The title is pretty self explanatory. I know its not exactly a unknown thing but its actually crazy how incredibly bad the predator problem is getting on Roblox in both ways. More families should be aware of this as this platform is one of, if not the biggest gaming platform with kids. Families should heavily monitor their kids if they play Roblox or better yet, avoid it entirely until it is actually safe. Roblox is extremely lax with this issue and might even be making it worse with their CEO trying to make the platform a dating site as well. Yes its true. Along with the platform being rampant with predators the game is also heavily predatory in terms of money. The game heavily encourages gambling to children (ex: Pet simulator X and Blox Fruits) and even takes most of the money that young game developers make in their platform. There is another huge video about this that completely exposes them, here (https://youtu.be/_gXlauRB1EQ) and here (https://youtu.be/vTMF6xEiAaY) there are …
Hey,
Does anyone else here play any super old sports games even though there’s tons of newer ones just becuase?
I’m playing tiger woods golf 2014. There’s like 10 newer games but in terms of content avaliable and career mode it’s better than all of them plus the not having any heavy microtransactions, battle passes etc os great. And the single player experience in games seems to be worse these days becuase they want people to buy things they can show off online so much.
Also playing fifa 2005 for Nostalgia reasons it takes me back to my peak years growing up.
What about you guys? Any old sport games you still play today? Either for Nostalgia or just genuinely becuase you like them more?
Use this thread to discuss whatever you’ve been playing lately (old or new, AAA or indie). Don’t just list the names of games as your entire post, make sure to elaborate with your thoughts on the games.
Make sure to use spoiler tags if you’re posting anything about a game’s plot that might significantly hurt the experience of others that haven’t played the game yet (no matter how old or new the game is).

i rate my best of 5 by playtime / play-through amount and emotions to the games…. what are yours? (only 1 slot per franchise, only single player and the most played multiplayer as a bonus)
#1 GTA V / San Andreas
#2 Final Fantasy 9 / 10
#3 Kingdom Come 1⁄2
#4 Subnautica
#5 Soma
Multiplayer: Counter Strike
Long forgotten Dota hero The Gambler was removed from Dota 1 in 2005 and has never been spoken about since.
During Quarteros dialogues he hints at being someone powerful and important.
The Gambler was originally removed because his skills were mostly luck based and he gambled on other heroes potential actions.
Now he’s here passing out free items. They look like cosmetics to us but his dialog suggests they are powerful trinkets.
I think at the end of the Event he will become a playable character based on The Gambler.
shoutout to the carries in my games sayin she a fake support- my honest reaction:
give some love to fun heroes 😔💔
this is a trend meme format- heres the inspo for it :\^)
And what’s the gameplay? Any notable pro-ish game with this?
I got curious when I saw this Battle cup match yesterday playing out next to me. I would go ahead and say that is a hack? Map hack maybe?

So I’ve been thinking about this for awhile. Valve is supposedly the team using a tonne of stats, so my question is: What element of DOTA caused the most people to quit and uninstall permanently? Like mid game, or immediately after a game, and never ever come back. Here is my list, open to suggestions for sure.
Honourary mention to overland delayerer’s name being bad, or confusing, or offensive, or whatever it is that caused it to be changed 20 times.
Edit: not really the spirit of the post talking about players. I mean actual game mechanics that balance patches impact.
Obviously toxic people make people quit. …
TL;DR:
Status Resistance decreases total damage from DoTs, Debuff Amplification increases total damage from DoTs. This is not intended.
Proper Explanation:
Status Resistance and Debuff Amplification (i.e. negative Status Resistance, same coding) are only supposed to decrease/increase the duration of debuffs, while the dynamic tick interval is supposed to increase/decrease the frequency of ticks per second, to keep the total damage the same.
But currently this behaviour is broken, and Status Resistance reduces total damage, while Debuff Amplification increases total damage, for most DoT spells. This is not supposed to be happening according to older changelogs (patch 7.07, which added Status Resistance as a mechanic).
Example Scenario:
If an unmodified ability does 100 damage per second and lasts for 10 seconds, it deals a total of 1000 damage (before reductions):
I played two games today on offlane, and both times i had invoker pos 4 who went agent of gallaron and pre-skilled exort, only to do nothing but sit under tower and afk with camera in other lanes trying to sunstrike. I cannot hit a single creep in lane and the game is over by 10 minutes.
Why do you guys decide to grief the game? Ive never seen invoker pos 4 with exort win a game EVER. At least do quas/wex and play the fucking game like a human being, your 200 damage sunstrike doesnt contribute AT ALL. They also then proceed to blame their team when they lose because theres no way that 1 sunstrike they hit in 30 minutes didnt win us the game, GG TEAM THREW.
When Vindicta awoke, she could only remember one thing: pure - perfect - hate. It was this hate which combined with the forces of the first maelstrom to allow her soul to walk the earth once more. What she didn’t know, was that she wasn’t the only one. There are many spirits filled with hate, many sould which would leap at the opportunity for vengeance… or to continue their lives work. One such spirit is that of the very judge which sentenced her to death, though his form is seemingly less complete than hers, less sentient. He is but an engine of hate. A wraith fueled by anger but unwittingly being consumed by it as it scorches him from the inside out.
