I think Geoff Keighley knows exactly what he’s doing, and since Deadpool already teased us at Summer Game Fest, I strongly believe we’ll finally get a Silksong release date tomorrow.
Hey skongers!
The time has come for a post regarding spoiler rules. We’ve had many conversations within the mod team regarding these rules, so we think that they are fair but feel free to suggest changes - we’re doing this for the first time too!
This is more of a re-iteration of our previous post, along with some clear cut rules.
So without further ado, here are the revised r/Silksong rules regarding spoilers in every form:
Everything related to in-game screenshots, in-game videos, references to plot and characters as well as questions from any stage in the game must be spoiler tagged
Memes that have anything to do with spoilers must be spoiler tagged
In case the post is not spoiler tagged, then either a mod spoiler tags it or removes it. If this occurs multiple times, you may receive a ban 😔
To quote our previous spoiler post: “We might also add spoiler tags if possible, so we don’t have to remove that many posts. Also spoiler tagging takes 2 seconds, …

My only gripe is that the story doesn’t offer a grandiose message or hit as hard as I would have liked, relying more on pageantry and spectacle to get by. But, rarely does a game take me aback and thank my lucky stars that the medium of video games exists, and that’s why we see this one as one of the standout performers of 2025 so far.”

Everyone has that one game that critics rave about but you just couldn’t get into it. What was that game for you?
Greetings Dota community! Here i share this piece of my submission for the Dota2 shortfilm contest telling the history of Drow Ranger, i hope you like it, thanks!

Last week I was playing Axe on offlane, stomping the enemy carry and just doing Axe things. Other lanes were not doing so well. My SF mid was struggling since enemy supports were ganking while ours were just afk. My slark was emaciated from being boxed out by enigma eidolons. I was feeling all the pressure to carry this game, then suddenly I heard Axe exclaim as I used culling blade:
“I said good day, sir!”
This awakened something inside me: the anger at the people who refuse to greet me back. I forgot about the game, and felt my inner soul come alive. Every morning I greet people with “Good day!” and seldom get something back.
From that night on, I decided to change. I vowed to follow Axe’s persistence and dedication to greetings, and stoic refusal to not be greeted back. From then on whenever I got no greeting back, I would chop them on the neck with an “I SAID GOOD DAY SIR/MA’AM” and now everyone greets me back.
Thank you, Axe. You …
Hi Dota reddit,
Not many people know this,, but back in April there were rumors coming from China about an exploit on Steam that allows users to duplicate items. The biggest chinese traders all say that a small group in China, consisting of only a few people, has been abusing it on a large-scale, making hundreds ultra-rare items, possibly thousands of much cheaper items. This information is well-known among dota traders and collectors, but very few people outside that small circle are aware of it.
People are still buying these items without realizing not only that they are buying dupes - which is risky since Valve could revert them if they crack down - but also that they’re buying items that are steadily losing value.
First known occurrence once the issue gained traction:

Someone put 43 Ionic Vapor gems on sale in 1 bundle, which is highly unusual and suspicious. To get just 1 Ionic Vapor gem, you have to completely break an …
Last night I was playing support Silencer. We were getting stomped early game, my carry was afk farming but way behind, and I was honestly ready to just mute everyone and autopilot through the loss.
But then, as I was walking back to lane, Silencer said silence . Just pure, oppressive silence.
And it hit me so strangely—like, here’s this grim librarian of the arcane, staring into the abyss, refusing to let a single word escape. No false cheer, no rallying cry, just shut up and win. I thought about how often I go through life wasting energy complaining about failure before it even happens.
That night I decided to flip my mindset. Instead of whining about outcomes work meetings, chores, even small stuff like cooking dinner I just shut up and did it. And honestly? Everything’s been smoother. Turns out muting your own inner voice of doubt works wonders.
I guess I just needed Silencer to remind me that sometimes silence is stronger than belief.
Thank you, Silencer!
Last night I queued into an offlane game as Legion Commander. Things weren’t looking great—our mid fed early, our safe lane collapsed in under ten minutes, and the enemy carry was snowballing out of control. I was underfarmed, underleveled, and under pressure.
But then, in the middle of a chaotic team fight, I saw an opportunity. I blinked in, dueled their highest net worth hero, and—somehow—won.
That moment changed something. Not in the game—though we did start clawing back—but in me.
Because Legion doesn’t ask for permission. She doesn’t check the odds or wait for the perfect setup. She charges in, locks eyes with her opponent, and says: “Let’s settle this right now.”
And I realized how much of my life I spend overthinking—delaying tough decisions, waiting for signs, wondering if I’m ready.
The next day, I tried something different. I faced that awkward work call head-on. I confronted a problem I’d been putting off for weeks. I stopped overanalyzing and just acted. And you know …
I’ve been very lost lately—unsure of what to do, what to study, or what to dedicate myself to. I knew I needed a source of income to achieve my life goals (staying alive, not with too many luxuries but without worries), but I had no idea how.
Then yesterday, while playing a game as Rubick, he said: ‘I am no thief; I merely borrow.’ At that precise moment, everything clicked. That was the key. I had to think like Rubick, be like him, do something he would do.
So I realized I had to go to the nearest bank and borrow all the money. Of course, I knew they wouldn’t understand (since they probably haven’t played Rubick), so I had to proceed carefully. The plan was simple: go to the bank, take the money, bet it all at the casino, multiply it by seven, and then give the bank back what I had taken—because ‘I am no thief; I merely borrow.’
Now I’ve achieved my goal. I’m in a wonderful place where everything is paid for: food, drinks, the gym…
Greetings from prison—I’ll be back in 15 years. …
